A day of excitement for the Citizens of Missisipatea as they awake to find the central Stroad gone and replaced with a functioanal main roads. The excitment didn't stop there though as Mayor Biffa announces that he will be implementing several suggestions ffrom the Citizens. The first suggestion implemented, was to age the the tarmac of the parking lots in the city so they match the color of the roads. An odd suggestion indeed , we agree it does look better but we are worried about the cracks that have appeared as a result of this. Next the entire Hemlock district was redesigned, European styled building were banned and many buisnesses were force to relocate to acomodate the new road layout. Metro lines were adjusted to accomodate the changes, but power plants were largely untouched by these changes though there were a few small black outs as power lines were adjusted. Citizens are warned that there may be supply shortages and price increases for the next few days and the local industry is re-establihed. Heavy traffic has been ban in Spring hills in an effort to provide some peace to the long time residents of the city. In other traffic related new Mayor Biffa has responded to countless complaints regarding the needless waste os resources and unatractivness of the road/railway crossings, on the outskirts of the city. Both the rail and thew road ways have been adjusted acordingly. Several buildings have been constructed for public use near the educational district, such structures include a large convention center a comunity center and an architechts firm. Lets hope that they can reduced the need for demolitions within the city. Plenty of parking has of course been provided for anyone wishing to make use of these new facilities. So what do you think of you fellow citizens suggestions?Hugo has certainly been working hard processing them, apparently he hasn't seen the sun for weeks now! It seems that Mayor Biffa has great plans for the cities expansion in the near future, so we here at City News will see you then .

First of all - I appreaciate the approach of having most things above ground where you can see them. 19:18 This wye is really huge and getting quite close to the point where the station tracks of the cargo terminal split from the cargo main line. Probably not a train length. This could be improved by shrinking the wye a tiny bit. 11:19 Relocating the metro station is definetly a good decision from the metro perspective - but metro and tram are almost becoming clones of each other. Maybe the tram should find new routes where it won't act as a rival for the metro and rather provides access to the metro.

The new convention center area is fantastic. Someone else mentioned how a lot of expo centers over here are named after sponsors, and that made me think that it would be a really fun throwback to have this one be the New Yorkshire Tea Expo Center (lil bit of US with the New York, lil bit of Biffa lore with the Yorkshire tea). Also, the redone industry area and the big suburb next to it remind me a lot of some of the areas of Pennsylvania near where my mom lives. (As a New Englander, I'm not a fan of that style, but it's certainly very American!)

Hey Biffa, a tip for the road-based car parks; if you use node controller on the node connecting the access road and car park, you can adjust the node type, then make the ends meet at 45° and it will square up the road/car park to look much more realistic!

Been binge watching episodes for 3 days! Going to go back and watch some of your other builds from the beginning! In America most of the High Schools have indoor swimming pools, Basketball auditoriums, Baseball fields, and Football fields. College sport teams bring in more revenue than any other source! Every convention center has huge amounts of parking lots and garages. Several hotels or motels very close to the venue. In suburban areas there are at least 3 swimming pools for every 10 to 20 homes. In high density areas there were public swimming pools. And if you are fortunate enough to live near a lake or river there are always public swimming beaches. Time to binge some more videos!😁

  • @macsound

@@Tim_van_de_Leur Its because our cities are so unwalkable, driving 1/2 a mile down the road makes more sense sometimes than walking. Also, parking lots are investments. What may look like a large lot charging $10 per car can also be used for far fewer school busses and charge $100 per bus. Big money in parking.

For a US city, you really need to be using a chainlink fence normally, and save other fences for specific choices. They're ugly but inexpensive and are EVERYWHERE in the sorts of places where you're bordering things.

One thing you should incorporate, in america you see flags literally everywhere. Whether it’s city hall or a McDonald’s it’s going to have a big star spangled banner waving out front

Liking seeing more cherry trees. When you create the riverside high rise district, you could emulate DC (they were a gift from Japan ~100 years ago) and have a river walk lined with cherry trees.

Being that mississippitea would be in the south, two of our major brands of tea are luzianne and Lipton. So maybe you could call it luzianne educational center or Lipton institute

Hi Biffa, Love your videos. In your car parks/parking lots, for your disabled/accessible parking stalls, why do you use parallel spaces when the rest of the parking in the lot is 90-degree/perpendicular parking? Cheers!

I kind a wish that there would be some kind of hotel or something near those convention centers. As there would be lot of week long conferences people need to place to sleep.

Just a idea but wouldn't it be cool if you used a coal power plant and the European looking industrial buildings with the stacks on top and use move it to create a large industrial complex? Maybe with a canal running alongside and infuse a clean water outlet into the coal plant?

funny enough, with the nordvpn ad if you look on hugos flight scene at the beginning and look at the background, you see a tsunami. so i guess you can say nordvpn protected hugo from a tsunami as well.

Just an FYI you are putting your Handicapped parking in wrong. It should be so they can pull in like a normal parking spot. Enjoying watching the build.

I think the university/convention area needs to be named after a US President but tea-ified. Maybe "Kennetea University"
