Mark Pitchers is back with the latest instalment of ‘The Challenge’.
In this episode, time and conditions are against him and Mark really does have to make EVERY second count as he attempts to pass another challenge.
The aim is to make it to the end of his 48 hour session! Mark starts with 300 points and will lose 10 points every hour, 10 points for every Carp under 10lbs and 10 points for every fish that is not a Carp. Points are added for every Carp over 10lbs and their weight equals the points gained. In order for Mark to survive he MUST catch Carp consistently and OVER 10lbs.
Will Mark catch enough Carp to make it to the end of his 48 hour session?

The what why scene had me in stitches as it reminded me of the chuckle brothers sketch where they were saying what is your name and they were replying back with yes that is my name 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great to see your up near my area, I fished manor farm, Biggleswade a few years back and it's a great venue. Carp lake was kind to me.

Unlucky Mark you certainly gave it a good go! Being so proactive, many anglers wouldn't bring there rods in just as it get's dark to freshen things up, I'm one of them tbh! Great viewing as always, big respect mate.

Great challenge lads
Love the videos been watching for a few years now. I cant help but think that the carp fishing experience that you get is different then us normal folks. What I mean by that is, a person would need to spend 5000 to 7000 cad dollars to get all the gear, bait and equipment you have at your disposal. I fish with a simple hair rig with a piece of flavoured oversized corn and maybe a bit of ground bait consisting of dry oats, bread crumbs,and some bird seed. I have had many 20+ fish days on a single rod setup leaning on a stick. Our carp fishing experiences are just different.

The big difference is those 20+ fish days are mostly under 10lb, if not all of them. I have also had insane run days where in 4 hours I had 16 fish out, but all between 3-7lb carp on a match lake. The 15+ lb carp dont feed like that, especially anytime outside the warmer months, such as this video.

Hi just watching this video and you used your spod on the marker rod. Do you shorten the line if it's 8ft deep? If not won't the spod land well behind the hookbait? I'm fishing a really deep lake this winter so interested to know your take on it

Very hard challenge especially in that time of year, that throw with the teabag though, how many takes was it ? And that was never 5 yards, more like 5 feet 😂

Funny how "the aim of the challange for Mark was to stay on the lake for 48 hours" and he changed lakes 2 times :) :) nevermind, it was a tough challenge, nice video. i bought 2 zig kits straight away :D
