You deserve credit for getting as far as you've got, no doubt. But revisionism is easy when it's gone well, there's nothing wrong with what they said about Dortmund. Some teams just have a good cup run. You're 5th in your league.. Humble yourself a bit. You're not even in the final yet. Long way to go.

You chose Dortmund to lose every single series up to this point and got every single one wrong lol

Some things on Bayern: 1) We got Laimer for free last season, although he was a Nagelsmann signing from RB Leipzig, not someone Tuchel necessarily wanted 2) Tuchel's clear CB pairing is De Ligt/Dier. They can communicate best, help each other the most and are least prone to errors. De Ligt got injured during the last BL match though, meaning Kim had to jump in with very little match experience in the last few weeks. And when you talk about a defensive boss, De Ligt is absolutely gearing up to be that. Again he was missing though. 3) Tuchel has to be cut some slack for a number of reasons. Firstly he didnt receive any signings he wanted, besides Dier in the winter. Therefore the club missed out on a CDM which he wanted very badly. He instead received some signings that he never actually asked for, like Sacha Boey. Secondly, the team is completely drained. 11 years of straight title wins without fail even when you looked terrible obviously demotivates the squad and its evident that theres currently no fight. Compared to our UCL performances, its a completely different team. Lastly you also must mention that we arent even playing that bad of a season, but there was just a point around the beginning of the year, where the team just kind of dropped the ball and went on to lose to Bochum, Lazio and Heidenheim. We'll see how the rest of it goes, but should TT actually win a UCL with this team, he'll be the undisputed Champions League GOAT manager of this generation of coaches. 4) Yes, Sane hasnt scored since October. Like basically all our wingers, he only has a few months a season where he plays his best, usually at the beginning. He was an absolute demon in the earlier games. And yes, I'd also admit that, when not in form, Sane is an abysmal finisher. However he is often still a hugely important player and he is a fighter. Thats why he keeps playing, and deservedly so. Also, we never have more than one, maybe two healthy wingers. Also, in a big game, Sane >>>> Dembele.

Saying any english club has a better atmosphere in the stadium than the big german clubs is a joke.

Love the podcasts, best part of my day! But I do have to disagree with Pala when he says Nagelsmann took away Bayern's aura a bit in the champions league. In his two years at Bayern, he lost only one game in champions league. His final record with 15-2-1 with Bayern in the CL, that's aura, that's Real Madrid numbers. That aura never left in my personal opinion.

It's a good point you guys brought up the f1 spending limits. They get a higher spending limit based off their income and you see that when theyre racing as well. red bull, ferrari and mercedes are mostly on the top half and teams like williams and haas are mostly on the bottom. So now by putting a hard spending cap on the prem I'd say it'd make more sense for investors (not looking at the passion for the club aspect) to invest in the little clubs. Since the big teams get limited in growth if not now then at some point. So a spending cap can either create bigger differences or create more competition and i feel like the competition option would be more profitable to the prem. not the clubs, but the league, because of the drama. If you read all this i'd like to know ur opinion as well and english is not my native language so i apologise for any mistakes!

I like the Epl salary restrictions. Most people know that Mls has a strict salary cap they keeps most teams at a level playing field. Obv Mls is a much smaller sample size than Epl but it keeps teams like la galaxy from wining the title every single year and gives smaller clubs a chance to compete. I think any football fan would prefer more competition in the prem every year than just seeing man city win it every damn year.
