I got a text from another Dasher telling me that the Para app for DoorDash is down right now, but they always seem to get back up and running after being disrupted. They said the other apps are still working on there though. Thanks for the compliment! If you haven’t already, contact DoorDash about being accepted into the “large delivery” program so you can start receiving some of these offers that pay so high.

I agree 100%!!! With inflation and the economy not doing so well, many people with FT jobs are getting off work and running the apps from like 5-8p. I bet $$ there's an increase in demand and offers come 8p in most markets, when they have to log off to get home. My strength is identifying patterns, then adjusting how and when I work according to what I'm seeing. Now that summer is here, that saturation will fall off some with vacations, and high temps. Average tip has definitely gone down a lot too, as a direct result of the extra money drying up. Don't let that drop your average $$ amount you accept though, because it just rewards those who won't sacrifice their convenience and these gig companies that won't pay us higher base pay. Find areas with higher demand or less gig workers. There are spots that don't show up as hot spots, which attract the masses of drivers that still have consistent demand and great earnings potential.

@@GigCoachJake Yeah in my market, delivery demand EXPLODES after 8 or 9pm and I start getting crazy good offers which works for me since I work at night (food delivery and rideshare).

I've been afraid of using this since I first heard of it a year ago or so. I have been afraid too of using a 3rd party. I decided in recent days with these newer even more frequent 2.25 long distance payouts I should try para or just leave anyway. I've been listening to you for years and I trust you so I'll do it. If I do get deactivated for it somehow in the future that's okay I need to try something or quit anyway. Having someone I trust say it's okay is what I needed right now. Thanks Jake.

Nothing that low is going to pay higher anyhow. Depending on market, $6.25 or $6.50+ you will see the higher payouts on occasion. I can also assure you that many people I know have been using this app for a long time, without worries of deactivation. DoorDash would have a big class action lawsuit that they would lose and ultimately be forced to show the true payouts up front from that point on. It’s your right to see all the information they receive from customers and merchants up front before making a decision to accept a binding contract(offer).

I have been using Para. No issues from me. It's been an awesome tool for me.

Good stuff. Been using para for a while now. While it’s helpful, it’s not accurate on the tip unfortunately. However, it is a useful tool to see the customers total before accepting.

@@shafatullah1367 I’m in the far east valley on the border of the delivery zone. I run into viewers from time to time out here.

I downloaded it immediately when you mentioned the ability to flag merchants. With a LOT of sketchy and incompetent merchants in my area, I know it will never happen, but these delivery services REEEALLLLYY need to implement a way for us to blacklist restaurants that are slow/rude/etc. There are just some places that aren't even worth it. (Worst in my area is a place that actually insists that the dasher mark the order as "received" before they've even started making it.)

I was actually able to get them to never send me Walmart offers and haven’t received one in almost two years now since doing so. Not sure it can be done on random spots, because it would be a way for us to maintain higher AR without dealing with their crap offers, but it’s worth trying! Worst they can do is say no.

The biggest abomination is Ubereats' "upfront addresses" since it kicked in on me a few months ago. Talk about not being able to make an informed decision as a supposed independent contractor. I don't know how they get away with it.

What's particularly bad about it here is depending where you are the difference between even 2.2 and 2.5 miles can mean 2.5 miles has you delivering to the Strip, which almost no driver here wants to do. I hope they ditch it soon because it's a constant declineathon while I'm working and I have to rely on DD now as my bread and butter app.

@@tripfisk4246 yeah I’m in SLC, I do UE/DD/GH approx 30 mins south of downtown. Thought it was an “update” glitch but it’s been running great for almost a month now. Fingers crossed lol 🤞

I haven’t found Para to be that helpful. I can usually tell if an order is going to have an extra tip. It’s been wrong as much as it has been right in my experience

As long as you have your own system and an idea of when an offer will pay higher or not, then that's all that matters. I've never needed Para to do that and be very successful, so I can relate. Keep working smarter!!

Exactly. Too many people working scared. I had someone claim they got deactivated and I told them no one has and that they probably did something else to get deactivated. Then they came into my comments scaring others after we talked. Had to corrsct them publicly them. Sad.

Isn't there a saying that goes, scared money don't make no money? These companies prey on the fear of gig workers and they're afraid to exercise their rights as an Independent Contractor. Couldn't tell ya how many people claimed I would be deactivated for what I do and for putting out content that helps others do the same. Over 4 years later, here I am still running the same system and killing it!! It's a shame that we live in such a scared and easily manipulated society. So easily influenced by the media and fear.

I installed Para on my phone and connected it but wasn't getting any notifications whatsoever when I received an order. Their FAQ section was blank also. Seemed sketchy, so I deleted the app.

Their app is down for DoorDash, but working for GrubHub. No clue why the FAQ section was blank, as it wasn’t recently. Don’t blame ya though if it seemed sketchy with the app being down.

Hey, DJ! I live and work in the east valley myself on the border of the zone. People used to always claim my success came from being in a busier area, but I've been back out here for 2 1/2 years doing as well or better with a fraction of the merchants and less big $ offers. I avoid Walmart and Amazon I didn't like because it's too unpredictable as to where you will end up. I want to have more control over how many miles I put on my vehicle and less wear and tear due to all the stop and go. Whatever works for someone else though, more power to them!!

I have never gotten any extra tips/payouts after accepting or delivering the order on GH, what you see in offer is what you get, I even had handful of times where customer appreciated my service and communication and told me in text they added extra tip in the app after drop off - I never received any extra tips in the app. GH is shady AF.

So can they fix the GH DD conspiracy shared software issues when multi apping the 2??

Please explain more. I run GH and DD together on a regular basis and don't run into any issues. Of course they only give you a fraction of the time to toggle back over and make a decision, but as soon as I see the notification I know to toggle to one app or the other and then make a quick decision based on experience and the info given.

Unfortunately i came to this video right after a friend got deactivated for using it.

the para app stopped working for me yesterday mid afternoon. I wasn’t sure if it was my area or what. i’ve tried deleting the app and re installing, restarting my phone, checked for updates. signed in and out of door dash. not sure what’s wrong but i really need it to work

That's what someone told me in a text message yesterday, that uses the app in my market. I'll contact Para to see what info I can get from them. Just know that it will go down from time to time for a number of different reasons. Always pay attention to what offers you see that have been paying higher, to identify patterns within the algorithm. Look for as many clues as possible that you can use down the road when the app does go down. Til it comes back on, accept offers $6.50+ as those are usually the ones that can pay higher, and if not they will add up quick as long as they're shorter trips, with quick and efficient merchants.

Did you try contacting them to resolve the issue? Check the FAQ's on the app as well in case it's a common issue that can be answered right there so you can get access ASAP.

Drivers like to tell on themselves. It's very weird. Some of them have called DD to ask if they would get deactivated for using Para. 🤦🏽Have you tried 75 Hard? What is your other job?

I haven’t even heard of it since I don’t get on social media much and haven’t watched any other KZread channels in forever. Para helps the average gig worker do what I’ve been doing without an app for a long time. Anything that has to be programmed will illicit a pattern. I simply figure out those patterns pretty quick, test my theories, and then make decisions accordingly. I actually do gig work FT and have for several years.
