Jerry needs to put the cards on the table. Dak either takes a team freindly deal and allows us the build around him or trade him before training camp. Dak is just good enough to get you beat in postseason. Like Kurt Cousins or Lamar Jackson.

I said this in February. Offer him a 5 yr 175 mil fully guaranteed (35 mil apy) with incentives up to 250 mil. If he balks, ask him to consent to a trade, at that time. They have waited too long and doing nothing.

@@anthonygarcia121883 they cant trade him and they are not going to break record salary for the black Kurt Cousins so Dak has one more year in Dallas. This is my guess. Zero chance Dsk wins another playoff game especially going to a team that is not accustomed to having the lowest velocity passer in the league.

Look at Trevor Lawrence. Is he worth the money he just got? Probably not, but the market dictates what QBs are getting. Dak may not get that in Dallas but he will probably get it somewhere else.

I wouldn't resign Dak. Makes no sense of sign someone who's only had regular season success and even that is putting it lightly. Trey is younger and faster and I believe with his upside will have tremendous success

Pre season he'll be going up against rookies and backups playing a vanilla defensive scheme. Pre season won't show anything. Regular season games are the only way to show what he's got.

Dannny white had to leave Dallas because of the abuse and he was franchise leader in every stat when he retired. Fans were wearing google eyed glasses to the games in Aikman's final season and he won three superbowls. Meanwhile Dak is getting pure love from basically one demographic both on the streets and on the TV after screwing the pooch in big games time after time. Quincy Carter is still loved by this same demographic and he is the worse starting QB in league history. Simping for players of your skin color is a cultural imperative to one select group of people. It is indisputable. Fortunately for old school cowboys fan Trey Lance is also not white otherwise the crying about rascism would be off the hook. Remember when the Cowboys front office was thinking about letting the fourth round phenom walk. Jerry Jones was openly called a rascist on every sports broadcast in the nation. This man has made 100's of black men millionaires. It is what it is but certain folks have no shame in judging people by the color of their skin.

Trade Dak extend Trey if he will give you a sweatheart deal and build his stock. This season is in the also ran category before training camp. A first round for Dak this year and a first round for Trey next season gets you to the top of the draft or three first round picks. Thats the best move if you want to try for a championship. If you just wanna kick the can down the road then extend Dak.

We might get to see Trey because Dak had the boot and we all watched him play like ass half the season with a boo boo calf, then turn around and miss 4 games with a boo boo finger. So give the reigns to Lance who ended up being a 3rd stringer for the 49ers. He's going to have to show a lot in preseason to move past Rush and be Dak's successor. Dak was 2nd in the MVP race last year. On paper it sounds good though.
