Will Bird Flu Be The Next Pandemic?

Bird Flu has been a serious illness for centuries, affecting primarily farmed birds. In the past it has caused outbreaks among humans. Scientists have warned about its potential as a pandemic for the past twenty years at least, but generally it hasn't been much of a concern.
Just as the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic was coming to an end in 2020, bird flu started mutating to be able to spread and survive effectively in wild bird populations. The results have been a deadly and deeply concerning virus outbreak in wild animals that could have profound effects on global biodiversity.
At the same time, this new strain of bird flu, H5N1, has made its way to mammals, including ones that we eat quite frequently. Will H5N1 become the next pandemic? And if not, should you still be worried about it?

This guy accidentally called Covid a pandemic. He was supposed to say “scamdemic” and “next-scamdemic”.

i don't think humans collectively decided on anything, much less the modern food system run by ten obscenely meat barons. the rhetoric has always stunk of shifting blames away from systemic issues and the systemic solutions needed to combat them. what a strange note to end a video on.
