It's time to suit up the JL JEEP!
I am so happy have the opportunity to work with Nexen Tire and Mamba Wheels on this build. Then took it on the dirt road and tried it out. I love my jeep 10 times more now :)
Nexen Tire sent me a set of their ROADIAN MTX MUD TERRAIN TIRES and Mamba Wheels sent me a set of their New for 2019 line M25 wheel in 17x9 -12. The combination of this wheel and tire is absolutely amazing and I love how it brought up the jeep to life and also has very low road noise. As expected I did loose a few MPG from the tire size but Wet handling is amazing, plus the offroad capabilty of my jeep is night and day difference.

Tire shine and compress air. Not to shiny just perfect for a jeep
Check out metalcloak for suspension and fenders. If ur on a budget look into take off rubicon suspension and a leveling kit.
As long as you use after market high clearance fender's , I've seen YJ's on 40's with stock suspension .
Sweet Jeep. Sick tires! Beautiful ladies! Don't lift high, just do flat fenders and the minimum lift needed. It looks badass with that low stance. Don't forget the air those big tires down. Mid-to-high 20s on road and low teens to single digits off-road. Bride better, wear better, better traction.

Alberto you are a pimp the Jeep looks great you're going to need to buy a spare tire for the back to make it even and you might have to go ahead and put a 4 inch lift after that you're going to have to change the front and make it more aggressive but I tell you it's coming along very well congratulations brother. Keep up the good work🇵🇷
Just a heads up big boost you may kill your power steering pump with the ( big tires ) lol and you are going to lose some of your steering angle, and I wouldn’t off-road to hard because u will brake the axle shafts too just a heads up

Nexen directional tires that can mount on both sides!
1. Great choice in rims and tires. Yes you need at least 2.5” lift just making driving comfortable. But the main issue having 37” tires is that it WILL twist the threads on the axles... you will need to upgrade or you can wait when the teeth doesn’t grab them anymore (shafts). But in my opinion I think 35” would did perfect. But anyway get the shafts upgraded so you can continue to enjoy the Jeep.

JL is on Dana 44's and should handle them just fine but he may want to re-gear the diffs

@@jbivvy420 jl sport has a 30 front 35 rear, a jl sport with anti slip rear has a 30 front 44 rear with a clutch pack lsd. rubicons and gladiators have dana 44s front and rear

Is there a bump stop to prevent compression beyond the 2 inches?
That white stuff is a form of wax that they spray on two tires so the rubber doesn't dry out prematurely cuz we all know how bad things and when things end prematurely

Alberto BB, did you re-gear your differentials to account for the 37” tires, 4.56 or 4.88? Reprogram the computer to show the correct speed? Get a Super Chips or a Tazer. Great video! 🇵🇷
A 4 inch lift and you're golden
Since the wheels change every aspect of the jeep... what do you do for the power steering pump? Is there modifications needed for the control arms? Bushings , axles etc... Can anyone elaborate?there has to be supportive mods to prevent damage right?

Rubicon will fit 37s; the Sport & Sahara will not on stock suspension. I have 35s on a 2” lift - works well for light trails.
You should install a big bump cam in the inside lol

Everyone in the comments are professional internet mechanics on the JL. Tons of people run 37s with no issues. I've got 36x15.50s and havent had a single issue yet.

Upgrade your trac bar, they are a know weak point on stock tires never mind 37s, and stearing stabalizers, if not be ready for death wobble

@@Stackali i dodnt say would ztop death wobble i realize that, but i herd on a podcast, a guy named Dr deathwoble, the new jls have thin trac bars that give death woble at 3000 miles with stock tires, and with heavier tires nkt a bad idea to upgrade stabalizer, i am not running one at all on my jeep, but also runnig a 3 link on my dana 60 abd hydo assist stearing

jeeplovin I have a JL that is still stock and I drove from Texas to Alaska pulling a trailer at 80mph most of the trip and never once had any death wobble. My Jeep now has 14k miles on it

Nexen is called a palindrome.
Please don't do any tuff off roading because 37" tires are really too big for the Dana 30 front axle. Great for looks but not for off roading. 35" tires are the largest you should go with the dana 30 front axle.
