Thank you so much for telling her story. Truly, she was stronger and more formidable than her first governess and her parents combined for none of them were able to destroy her. A powerful character indeed. I also appreciate the strong sibling bond she had with her brother. Thank you again.

Thank you for this video. So odd I was just reading about Fredrick11 and Wilhelmina and their very abusive King father. He was absolutely horrible. They had a total of 14 kids but the King took it out on the Prince and his sister the most. Thank you again for telling their story.

It's sad to learn that Frederick William did not recognise the many qualities his children had.
Bayreuth was also the location for the grand opera house Wagner built a century later...
Waah, great video. I was looking forward to hearing more about this princess as I had heard about her compositions on youtube a while ago. And now, you have uploaded a video commemorating the memory of Wilhelmina. Her parents mistreated Federico and herself. What a bond they shared, surely they comforted each other in the hard times they went through. Such was her devotion to her brother that she yielded to her father's pleas, "If you marry Frederick of Bayruth, I will release your brother." Now with Frederick of Bayruth she had some years of happiness, and a daughter who surely gave her much needed affection. But when she learned of Frederick's infidelity, she devoted herself to exploiting her artistic gifts: that of composing music. It is also necessary to mention her devotion to literature and study, she loved to write letters. She maintained cordial relations with the freethinkers of her time and turned Bayruth into a center of culture. What would have become of the city without her? I really like the edits of your videos and how you narrate them, thank you.

She was indeed. So glad you liked this story.
How neglected these kids were by their parents that a governess was even comfortable enough to strike and abuse the king’s daughter. Imagine! The best thing her parents ever did for her and her brother was to die. Took them long enough.

Her facial features and coloring remind me of a very young actress, Sandra Dee. What a sweet look she has.
I haven't given any suggestions for a while. Someone who might interest you is Lucy Hay of early 17th-century England. Her father was implicated in the Gunpowder Plot and spent 15 years in the Tower of London (part of which time she accompanied him), then she married a Scottish favourite at the Stuart Court and became a close friend of controversial Queen Henrietta Maria on the eve of the English Civil War...

Thank you so much for telling this history. As always, I enjoy your videos so very much. Thank you Very sad how her parents treated her and how her husband was not faithful, but she always had her dear brother who never betrayed her.

I miss Preußen… so happy they helped me with my endeavors.
You sound Danish. Are you from Copenhagen? Do you have any favorite names from past monarchs that you think could still be used in today’s world? By the way, I like your professional narration and presentation of the historic personages you describe. Being a young woman who is studying journalism as her major, it is somewhat difficult for me to narrate a report in front of my peers because of my stuttering tic. Anyway keep up the good work and thank you for taking the time in your research of princess Wilhelmina of Prussia.😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Researching about people from the past is quite a task, as it takes so much time. I do have favourite names of past monarchs, but I don't know if they could still be "used in today's world." We live in different times ... I really like Frederick the Great for many reasons. And I used to admire Napoleon quite a lot, but lately this admiration has diminished somehow due to some things I read about him. I'm happy you are here, watching my video. And I would like to wish you all the strength you need to overcome any obstacle you may encounter with your studies. All the best to you!
