In the end Wilhelm was brave enough to show Simon how much he meant to him. It was worth to wait two seasons for those last two minutes in which he just does what it takes to be with Simon. What an amazing end. I cannot wait for season 3.

I don’t agree. He’s missing depth and more facial expression. Edvin had more chemistry with Nikita when she was sitting on the table while hugging and then he grabbed her hand than any intimate scenes with Omar. For me it’s Omar and Malte all the way. Edvin felt a bit awkward i guess.

I think I heard in an interview he said he used to act on stage (live), so it's not technically it's his first acting gig. Think someone asked him which was harder stage or tv, think he said stage

The story of Wilhelm and Simon is beaultiful precisely because feelings do not follow reason. The prince tries in various ways to get close to Simon from the beginning because he feels happy and comfortable with him. When Wilhelm hears Simon in the choir for the first time we can see him smiling, which doesn’t happen much in his life, other than his moments with his brother Erik. But despite feeling good next to Simon, Wilhelm is confused about his feelings. All the sings are there, heart beating fast, breathing ragged and even the habit of biting your nails when something is bothering you. When Wilhelm finally realizes and accepts this feeling he simply runs after his happiness. What can we say about the second season? Simon trying to hide from his own feelings and retreating from all the prince’s attempts to resume the relationship but he can’t completely walk away. The classroom scene when he learns that Wilhelm is forced out of school we can see the desperation in his eyes and then he takes the coat that Wilhelm forgot and takes it home as a way to always have him close. He even tries to create an environment similar to the first time they kissed in mansion on the horror night… Simon tries to create the same environment with Marcus, even asking for the horror movie, which i can bet would be the same that night…lol and so Wilhelm has the same attitude with Felice in the bedroom after seeing Marcus kissing Simon. It’s the characteristic attitude of two jealous teenagers trying to hurt each other. Wilhelm’s out of control blaming his mother for Simon’s supposed meeting and feeling that his life was destroyed. Why, in my opinion, is this series so relevant? Because she shows the truth of the feeling in adolescence, the urgency to be close, the passion that crushes the chest, the way they see the moments where there are no colors, it’s all black or white, eight or eighty, if they can it’s all beautiful but if not, they suffer as if they were going to die. Now there’s an observation that needs to be saud, Wilhelm is very brave when he has to fight for what he wants and the strength of his character is impressive. He uses this strength very well when defending Simon, positioning himself so vehemently when he doesn’t allow Simon to be the scapegoat for drugs, even imposing his will as crown prince and exposing his cousin’s financial situation. Finally, as a result of the omission of his mother and father, the absence of the brother who was his comfort, the betrayal of his supposed friend and the uncertainty of his relationship with Simon, Wilhelm decides to change the course of his history and the old traditions that are imposed by the monarchy, he smacks the truth in everyone’s faces during his speech leaving the mother distressed, the psychologist elared, and a distinctly lost and frightened Simon. The looks he gives the camera are simply sensational because they show exactly what he’s feeling at that moment, it’s like a frank and direct conversation that he can’t have with anyone. I end here believing and hoping that Netflix will order a third and fourth seasons ( the episodes are few and too short) because this story deserves a proper and happy ending. 😅

I've waited 1 year for this season and finished it in just some hours. Young royals holds some real power over me and is hauntingly beautiful, a series so powerful, so well-done, soundtracks and acting on point, amazing story and production, such beautifully filmed scenes, how can I ask for more? Every actor did an incredible job and I love how real it felt, how I could understand every character to some extend, like I even felt sorry for August. And about Wille and Simon? These 2 are made for each other, whatever obstacle they have to face, they always find a way to each other, trying to fall in love with someone else was wrong for both of them, but in these teenage years, everyone makes so many mistakes, is hurt, loves, all these incredible and painful eveniments. I literally need a season 3 right now 😭😭

This series is awesome! It's so beautiful the way they portray their romance, the soft touches, the hugs, holding hands... it's so delicate and full of details... i've never seen anything like this. Also the actors have a lot of chemistry. Can't wait to see their happy ending.

Absolutely in love with their story, and this made me fall in love with it even more💙

I loved this series so much because of the way i can relate to Wille, to his feelings and outburst, to his so well portraited fears and struggles. And with all that his character has the strenght to push through, with all the pressure and eyes on him, he manages to fight for what he wants and for his truth. The actors are also very inspiring and so well chosen, I absolutely love Edvin and Omar and the work they did for this show. Also the problematic is extremely important and also too little seen in tv shows or movies. I have only good words about this and i could watch these 2 love birds on and on for hours, i simply adore them ❤️ Ps: very nice video!

It's beautiful, can't wait for season 3,can't help the season are too short we need more.

Seeing their love grow, I am so proud of their story it shows how deeply there loved each other. The scene at the football field in the first season was such underrated moment went even Wilhelm said Simon only real thing to him. Gosh, second season we see Wilhelm being brave for Simon and showing him he cares about their love and standing up for himself. I hope for 3rd second we get to see Wilhelm smile and two both happy ❤

At the end s1e6,i felt like Wille was starting to care less of who saw or who had something to say while he and Simon were hugging. Like,this was definitely the turning point for both of them ❤❤

the ending was crazy Wille's mom isn't gonna be happy about what he did

@@mattie22811 actually they changed the age too. In the movie Alex is around 28 and so is Henry. They matured the characters a bit. In the book Alex is in the discovery stage of his sexuality, in the movie Alex is comfortable with it

Marcus manipulated Simon into having a relationship with him. Simon said clearly, I'm not ready for anything serious, and the next day he comes and kisses Simon in front of others including Wille (who he knows is Simon's ex). Simon did something really bad, but Simon still wasn't completely willing to be in a relationship with Marcus

Let's now talk about the possibilities that exist for some Young Royals characters for a possible third season. From my perspective. First we'll talk about Simon's sister Sarah, who was unmasked at the end of season two. Sarah is a strange character. She is selfish, jealous, manipulative and has no empathy for anyone. All decisions made by her only benefited her. Let's get to what we know. Sarah made a call to report a crime. We know she was the witness to August's leak of the video so that would be the crime. What can happen to those involved? August loses eligibility as Wilhelm's successor to the throne of Sweden and is criminally liable for the video. Simon also having to answer for the marketing of the medicines that are in August's possession since these medicines were pre-written for Simon's father and lastly Wilhelm's who he started to imagine that he could be free from the crown's responsibility not to have a successor anymore... finally there is still the possibility of Sarah not denouncing because I imagine maybe Felice sending a message asking her to return to school... remembering that this is my opinion and impression of what I saw. I'll be back to elaborate on the other characters.

As much as I liked your analysis of the characters' adolescence, I don't agree with your description of Sara, she has Asperger's syndrome (like the actress) and her behavior is dictated by her disease. She has always lived in her world and without friends, even being harassed, everything that happens to her is new, and she does not master social codes. Aspeger women are sometimes considered eccentric or bizarre. Admittedly, she wants another life, but when you come from a modest family it's not abnormal and it's not jealousy. She is duped by August, but it is her first love, there too she does not know the codes, she is frank and direct, another consequence of the disease. This is a key element to take into account to analyze Sara who remains a complex character and not devoid of interest.

ohh.. I am not going to be popular for this, but I have to note a few things. I understand that Simon does not want to be a secret, but I also think a relationship is about compromise. A give and take situation and I really think he is acting a bit entitled and selfish. I am not saying he is the only issue, and I do see his perspective, but I think he should have a little bit more understanding.

It's weird because if Simon was my friend I would 100% be team Marcus but as an audience member of course I'm rooting for Wilmon.
