I just can't explain how much this series ment and still means to me and how much good i've learned from it. I don't think i will ever see a another show like this in my life. Nothing can tell just how amazingly well made it is and how good the story is written. YR just has that "something" in it that makes it special. I will really miss them and never forget about them. I think Simon tried to push away his feelings because he was afraid of being hurt. He knew that being in love with the crown prince wouldnt be realistic. He was bound to get hurt. But in the last kiss I think you could literally see how Simon finally can let go of the defence mechanisms and let himself fall completely.

This series has got to be one of the best things I’ve ever watched, and one of the only shows that gave me an ending I can smile at. I love this show I really do ❤️

Ppl watching these short videos would never understand how the actual bgms used in the show hits during every scene... ❤me being a straight girl, I'd say never have I watched such a well directed show in my entire life

Thank you for such a moving edit, you truly have a gift, you captured and summarised the journey of Wilmon so well, why we fell in love with them, how they fell in love & all the obstacles and dilemmas and I love how you captured their love with previous scenes as flashbacks and how you captured the other important people in their lives. If you have a passion to do this as a career, seriously go for it! I' ve been boycotting Netflix due to their unethical stance in supporting genocide-supporting actors e.g. some Stranger Things cast were promoting Israel & Zionism while it massacred thousands of Palestinians, but I felt sad not being able to finish Young Royals S3. I read a great recap, however, since I'm a visual learner, it wasn't till I watched this spectacular montage that I felt closure; I didn't miss out on a special series. So thank you. I stopped watching season 2 for months but hearing the news of the third and last season... I just had to finish it. It was the BEST decision I made. I love the series, the cast, the writing, I JUST love it. Everything good will eventually end, but hey, I enjoyed the journey. I'm glad I continues to watch the show, and well done to everyone!

I love their relationship but i am a bit sad that it felt like wilhelm loved simon more. In my opinion the only time wilhem betrayed simon and left him out to dry was season 1 with his statement but every other time in season 2 and 3 it felt like whenever sacrifice came to play it was always him who fully committed to it. Simon would attempt to sacrifice then back out and drop the relationship. Even on his birthday simon left him alone to struggle while he had people to go back to. Simon wanted to be punlic throughout season 1 and 2 but when he finally got it he didnt stand by wilhelms side for the consequences. They finally ended up happy and it took august who is a horrid person becoming the crown prince 😭

I feel like Simon was too affected by everyone's perception of him. Frst he couldn't feel loved and accepted in hiding but in fact he didn't want the whole world to k either but simply to be sure he was with someone that wasn't ashamed of him. When he finally got everyone knowing about them he realized in what position Wilhem was in all along and that the hatred he feared and didn't want in his life was now coming from everywhere. He realized he wouldn't be able to trust people and he wasn't raised in such an environment to have to give up his whole personality which would not allow him to be happy. He knew eventually he and Wilhem would blame each other for those circumstances and abnegations and he didn't want Wilhem to give up the crown just for him nor to give up his whole life and privacy to fit in royalty, which I don't think wasn't him commiting to them but him understanding in a healthy relationship if both parts can't prioritize themselves it's not going to work or go anywhere like his mother says "love isn't so hard"... There's no point to try to shape urself to fit anyone or anywhere. At the end of the day the versions of one another they fell in love with were not the one they were becoming forcefully and Simon choose to protect their nature. for me that proves he loved Wilhem just as much because knowing that would hurt him a lot too and that Wilhem wouldn't make that decision on his own which would make them both unhappy if had to change more, he took himself out. he couldn't be the one to take those roles but somebody could eventually and that would never happen with him there or close by. what I do think Simon is tho is self depreciative he doesn't see himself as enough and he sabotages a lot from Marcus to selling the meds to his friend breaking gus trust his bar is really low when it comes to self respect reason why I think he is so serious when it comes to self expression and being able to be himself
