Wilfredo Leon nawet śpiewa hymn Polski po wygranym turnieju.Prawdziwy członek drużyny. Szacunek 💪💪
He may not be the most efficient player out there these days and proof of that is that he did not make into the dream team of the VNL even when his team won the tournament but he remains the most spectacular spiker. As commentators say again and again, he simply "sounds" different. The guy brought a whole new music genre to Spike town and I hope I'll live to see him inducted into the Volleyball's Hall of Fame because, that's gonna happen.

The reason why he wasn't in the dream team was because he didn't play from the start of VNL, he played off the bench, and not because of his inconsistency lol. Both Sliwka and Ishikawa did play all games or at least missed a few, but thier is no question that if Leon had started in more games he would be in the dream team. (Just realized he did struggle in the finals lol, but i think calling him inconsistent is crazy.)

@@y377ow9 thank you for letting me know that was the reason. That said, his consistency in the past year remains a question mark for me, especially in terms of passing and serve. When it comes to attacking, well, in his defense, t's not easy to be super consistent if you are left to the task of taking care only of off system attacks.

He is just one solid, professional volleyball player. Every team wish to have at least one man like Wilfredo Leon. He already become a Legend, not only in Poland. I think also, He is great, family Man.
Leon 133km/h service Vargas 112km/h service Cuban really produced the GOATs. Thank you Turkye and Poland for letting me witness this super and strong power of the era. I'm falling in love more and more with volleyball because of this two!! Idk, their charisma is just different. Regards from 🇮🇩

Thats only now.bwfore his knee injury and surgery he hit the ball on 340-355cm. He lost alot of explosive jumpong power.hopefully he regains

Actually, Poland won 2 World Champs in previous years when Wilfredo wasn't in the squad yet 😉. But we are very happy to have him. 😁♥️

he was not having a great day in the gold medal match of the VNL against the US and had to be replaced early on. Still, Poland won the game. That tells you he is not necessary, not for a team like Poland. They can beat the best teams without him.
