  • @Two_Seat_Pete_FatA55

    @Two_Seat_Pete_FatA55

    He couldn't. I'm not knocking AJ, i'm just saying that AJ needs to get in the mix and beat the real top fighters from now on. His best win is a Fury leftover and now Fury just got robbed against the guy that AJ should've been fighting really. AJ said "go tell the fans to train and fight Wilder", not exactly a good thing to say. AJ might have more decent wins on his record from being active, but Fury has the better and bigger wins, should be WBC and didn't lose any of those belts in the ring. Not saying AJ hasn't done a good job, he's done everything asked of him, but to me he won't be the true champ until he beats Fury. Until then, he's just a belt holder.

    If he (Eddie) is going to be salty because the fight was a succes, AJ is going lose credibility and fans will start believing Fury that Wilder will knock AJ out, Wilder's footwork is so unpredictable since he has no footwork that it can definitely surprise AJ as it did to Fury. Wilder jumped to hit Fury with that right in the 12th round, AJ defense has to be on point to deal with such unpredictability and that is why everyone still wants to see AJ vs Fury

    Joshua would have had 80-20 UK fan support in his favour against Fury a year ago, today it is more like 50-50. If Joshua and Hearn avoid Fury another year then it is it will be 80-20 in Fury's favour. People are getting a bit fed up of Hearn and Joshua. I think Fury has thrown down the gauntlet and it is up to Hearn and Joshua to accept. After Fury's performance the other day, Hearn can no longer use the excuse that the longer they wait the bigger the fight becomes. A summer showdown in one of the big football stadiums will be huge. But personally, I would prefer a Joshua-Wilder clash in the summer before Joshua-Fury in the winter. Fury will be at his absolute best again 1 year from now, rather than 6 months time, as he bound to still be a bit rusty.

    Eddie seems to forget that you can't judge a fight if you know the result already, or you watch it back again and rate it, so it's very unreasonable for him to in hindsight say it wasn't a good fight. Watching it live, with the tension/nerves/excitement and the factor of not knowing what on earth will happen, it can definitely be classed as a great fight. There's a similar argument also for the Klitschko v Fury fight - when watching it live in real time it was very exciting.

    The only reason Joshua has those belts is because of Fury, the true undisputed lineal heavyweight champion, the reasons being he beat Wilder(in a corrupted match) and Klitschko. AJ went life and death with Vlad who fury toyed with and Vlad should of just taken AJ out of there when he had the chance but chose to give him 3 rounds to recuperate, it took ages for ages for AJ to recover from that knock down and that wasn't even in Wilders league from what Fury took off him, then 20 secs later Fury was right as rain again, as for anybody else AJ has fought none of them are world level fighters, breazele wank, nearly to lost to 5,10 takam, same with goes to povetkin, then a points decision over Parker who Hughie Fury should of beat lol. I just cant wait until they actually fight, as stylistically Fury beats AJ who is virtually just a clone of Vlad

    Ok I don't care about the hate. My favourite fighter is hands down Tyson Fury but this is my top ten rankings based on who they have fought and when. 1.Joshua 2.Whyte 3.Parker 4.Fury 5. Wilder 6. Big Baby 7.Ortiz. 8.Povetkin 9. Pulev 10. Could be a host of fighters. Ignoring the eye test and just looking at activity levels and who they fought you can't knock AJ he's number 1. Whyte has had monster fights that Wilder just hasn't;t had. And Fury's absence means you have to look at who he his fought since his come back. Like I said, Fury is my favourite fighter but I being unbiased I've got him 4th at this point..pretty good considering what he's done in a year. Wilder is a shame because he has somehow not unified against Martin, Klitschko, Parker and has really fought lower class opposition. Even Parker has fought AJ, Andy Ruiz, Whyte. Wilder's last two fights have been proper fights. He needs to keep up that level of opponent to be ranked higher in my book. He should have not ducked Whyte.
