@markgross9039 not even in the same class. The original was the first GCI and it showed. Super rough and overall force less by modern standards.

This company just makes great roller coasters. They are always fantastic.

Finally a good Wildcats Revenge POV!

Rode this coaster in early July and it does not hold back! Definitely a top tier coaster of Hersheypark!

Rode this last night for the first time and it was INSANE. There was smoke everywhere from the Halloween stuff so it was extra spooky. I’ve never been on an RMC before so I was mind blown lol. Buttery smooth. The ejector airtime is nuts, the lift hill is way steeper than I thought. I probably could’ve done without 1 or 2 of the inversions but that’s just my personal preference because I’m not a huge inversion fan(don’t kill me!). But otherwise, my new favorite at the park.

this is by far my favorite roller coaster in hersheypark, and probably my favorite coaster that i have ever ridden. i rode it 4 times in one day, no regrets

This is the perfect coaster POV. I hate the recent trend of gyroscopes or video stabilization to the point where you don't even feel the ride anymore, but this one is the perfect balance. Perfectly smooth, no annoying shouts, great impression of speed and forcefulness. Thank you!

Hershey park is the best overall park in the US. It has a coaster lineup rivaling cedar point with a family-kid aspect nearly rivaling disney

Literally just rode this coaster for the first time yesterday. I’ve been going to Hershey Park since I was a kid and the original Wildcat was always the one coaster that was just ok. It wasn’t the Great Bear or Storm Runner, or even the Lightening Racer - it’s similar wooden neighbor. I only rode it about 2 times or so ever, and while it was ok, it wasn’t THE best. Now? It’s literally my second fav coaster in the park. I love how it’s bringing the Wildcat’s name back and you finally see a line at this coaster compared to before. It’s an ingenious mix between steel and wood where you have the smooth ride from the steel track and still get the rickety vibe from the wooden frame. Plus, the track itself is just so intense and fast, but so incredibly fun. That Wildcat’s revenge was PERSONAL, but absolutely worth it.

I LOVE this ride!! Great layout and beautiful balance in speed and airtime. Can't wait to go back!

This video does not do this ride justice. Relentless is how I describe this ride. Rode this 6 times.. it just doesn't let up. Highly recommend. Best coaster in the park

Fantastic roller coaster

Phenomenal ride, I’ve never ridden anything coaster like it before! The seats are super comfy and secure but I also got mad airtime, I recommend this one

Glad someone realized the name sake. Impressive you know it was called Joy Ride. By the way the original coaster was called Wild Cat not Wildcat.

Just went on this today- absolutely loved it. I didn’t see it in the light so was really surprised a lot throughout because I hadn’t seen the track in full. Way more intense than I expected but smoooooth. Can’t wait to go back.

I went on it few weeks ago with my brother and It did not disappoint. My whole body felt like it was flying in the air when those big airtime moments happened.

This is the best ride at Hershey at least in my opinion

Rode in July and then again 5 times yesterday (3x in a row as the park closed) I can’t believe the line doesn’t get crazy long for this …this ride is awesome

This looks amazing! It's a fine addition to the park and a good replacement for that old wooden bone-shaker. Maybe I can ride it myself someday. :)

a very smooth slow relaxing rollercoaster

First two rides on this machine today. Wow. Just wow. The whole time it felt like it was trying to violently eject me from the train in the best way possible. Somehow this is my first topper track hybrid RMC credit and I’m blown away. I haven’t ridden a ride with such violent ejector before and I love it!

Those two near back to back 0g rolls are taken at such speed and so intense i gray out a little sometimes

Skyrush is more intense, but really overdoes it. It's basically a tryhard in the form of a coaster. Wildcat's Revenge is MUCH better.

No it isn't but it's the best arguably. Absolute butter smooth perfectly engineered not intense in the slightest, it does not need to be it does everything right.

Ive been wanting to ride a hybrid for a while now and I'm so excited I'm planning a trip to Hershey Park next month will get to Ride the newest one!

Rode it yesterday. This was the most intense coaster Ive ever ridden. Sometimes that was a good thing, other times... It was fun, but I prefer Twisted Timbers at Kings Dominion.

In regards to why, their process of largely fusioning metal and wood, is legendary both as ground ups or revamps of pre existing wooden coasters, brilliant engineering through and through with amazing layouts.

Hershey has the SixFlags type of rides because they have a RMC that rocks and two 200ft tall coasters that are great rides and itamins like a launch and i vertical lift

It’s technically not RMC, because while the pov train was climbing up the lift hill, the one ahead of it was on the track, so half of the lift hill is slow because of a safety mechanism to prevent roller coaster trains from colliding with one another

Just in case anyone is wondering, this was a re-track of the original. 1996 Wild Cat, which was itself and evolution of the park's first coaster built in 1923. The 1996 version was extremely jarring and intense, with many complaining of whiplash after rides. They constructed this new track over some of the original support pieces, which is a super efficient idea.

Correct Wildcat was named after Wild Cat and was intended to be the flagship ride for the Midway America section, a selection that intended to be a throwback to parks from the 30's, 40's, and 50's. By the way I'm not sure what you mean by evolution but there's no relation between the 1923 coaster and 1996 coaster.

This is a great ride more intense then it looks but there are a couple of coasters better at Cedar Point
