Alucard I have a _very vague_ recollection of an episode where the lady cow with the whip had to get married, the blue one offered then something happened to him so the leader stepped in to offer but then they fixed whatever it was that caused the mess so she didn’t have to get married anymore ... I remember the theme song most (and that the leader was always preaching “Code of the West”) 😄😄😄 (Wow I’m late, if you read this hope you’re doing okay!)

Same. I ask people too. Actually I just asked someone and they didn't know anything about it so I pulled it up. I remember it coming on at night though. Soooooo......Do you remember The Mouse And The Motor Cycle? Now that was a Saturday morning hit. If I missed that show it's messed up my day.

My 4 yo son and I watched this every time it came on. Sadly I loaned somebody the VHS and never got it back. I made a list of every “code of the west“ lesson at the end of each Episode. This program stood out and still stands out as a quality cartoon you will actually want your children to watch.

I thought this was lost media [I've been looking for it off and on for years with no results other than hey, it did exist and a single youtube video of a vhs tape recording of the theme song], but I see full episodes! I can't believe it's here! Thank you, and to anyone else that's uploaded this long lost treasure of mine.

What a trip, I haven't heard that intro since I was like 6. I loved this show so much as a kid.

It has taken me so many years, but I finally found this cartoon again. I never could remember the name of it and just randomly found it today so happy lol.

I used to watch these when I was a kid, for some reason I just never watched them at some point. Today the theme song just popped up in my head, I looked them up and here I am. I gotta watch these 😅

It’s one of those guilty pleasures I like to watch over and over it has a will rounded voice cast .

I was born in the early 2000s and watched these on my grandma's vhs player- haven't even thought about them for years until I saw them in an old drawer. I don't have a vhs player anymore, so to find them on KZread is awesome!

I'm so sad my kids or any other kids will never know real cartoons

It's also sad and unfair that this show with so much potential like Bravestarr only lasted two seasons when it deserved proper closure and if only western genre were better respected and loved.

Good lord i haven't seen this show since Bill Clinton was in the Oval Office. Thank you Erin Plays for talking about the game for this show and reigniting my memory of it.

I never forgotten this show. I was 5 when this show is introduced in 1992

This cartoon has a lot in common with gunsmoke.Nothing wrong with that this was a fine show.Notice the voice of moo montana sounds like bravestar.

I forgot all about this cartoon, i hate it went off the air, it was one of the best cartoons as a child. Memories

I know right, shows based on the wild west should have been more respected and appreciated, especially as I look at Fieval Goes West, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Home on the Range, and Rango. It's so unfair this show ended too soon before a third season could wrap up everyone else's stories. It needs a reboot...a reboot that doesn't suck like Thundercats Roar and Powerpuff Girls 2016.

@@Disneyfan82 doesnt mean that. nust means it was a smaller portion. why cater to smaller groups vs making big money with the larger groups? .they catered to.the generation we were growing into. and also, what we have now is heavily relied on nostalgia. and westerns never truly went away. but it wasn't a large part of anything because of the push to keep up with the current times. today, we just love "going back". "being different". young people who wear "friends" sitcom tshirts but honestly never grew up with it. No.different than the kids from our generation with the 70s and 80s rock band, or us black kids, born in 80s raised in 90s, but heavily promoting Marvin Gaye and George Clinton. Reaching back to a time that wasn't ours just for some.vslidation of whatever kind. Not to mention the whole.agenda of certain parts of a.wrica wanting to "go back". .ake things "great again". i.enjoy a good western myself. But that's mainly the truth of what happened. We were kids growing into the tech age.

@@agonleed3841 But it still could have gone well if the second focused more on the story while bringing in new characters, but not only bring them up just to sell toys. I don't recall anyone not caring about western genre anymore in the 90s, otherwise there would be no more western flicks or novels. And it's still around today, even if not at the highest peak.

I was in the children’s hospital the years this was airing. Of the few memories I have from that traumatic period it was this show playing on Saturday morning.

I’ve never heard of this show before, but it looks like I picked the right time to give it a try; and now I think that the show is so cool

I’ll try to give you a rundown of the cartoons that aired around that time. I watched ABC Saturday mornings for years. Winnie Pooh, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, 90s Addams Family, The Pirates of Dark Water, Goof Troop and then The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show. This was probably around 1992.

Lol, I loved this show as a kid, I fondly remember battle royals with my ninja turtles, street sharks, extreme dinos, gargoyles. You name it. I always thought it was funny how the cows rode on horses. How some animals were anthropomorphic while others weren't. I always wondered why. Lol

After 10 years I found this masterpiece that I used to watch childhood .

I don't understand why it is not fully released onto DVD like all the other TV shows. And someone needs to tell people to stop whining and being nitpicky at little things in the show, proving how some people take cartoons way too seriously which is why we can't have great things anymore.

I first heard of this cartoon when I saw The Mysterious Mr. Enter's updated top-20 Best Opening Theme Songs video. This show's theme song came in at #5 on that list, and wow, is Billy Dean an amazing country singer. As for the cartoon itself, this is my first episode watching, and I'm already hooked. 😂

I had a moo montana action figure at one time. I wonder if it's still in my parent's attic somewhere?

@@shawnswint1521 That's fine. I believe this show deserves a reboot on Amazon Prime or Netflix the same as they did for MLP: Friendship is Magic, Ducktales, and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power by focusing on the characters, heroes and villains sides of the story that this show left unfinished.

@@shawnswint1521 If that is true, it would have been nice if they mixed it with She-Ra, but I heard something about DreamWorks unable to get the rights to He-Man which is why they made Etheria it's own person. I only hope they don't out Orko and Cringer. He-Man is barely anything without them.

for a western cartoon show where the characters were anthropomorphic animals, this show was the best i had ever liked in history.

I remember getting all the action figures for one of my birthdays at Mr.Gattis pizza.

You can now watch Darkwing and many other great 80s 90s cartoons on Disney+. Gummi Bears is another great one.

This Cow Town represents Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Colorado. El Dorado, Omaha, Colorado Springs, Cancun, Houston, Sedona, Dallas, and Santa Fe is where this cartoon looks like it is in. Yeehaw Buckaroo! I remember this! Ain’t nothing like The Old West. 🤠 🐴 What a great era the 90s was. I’m lucky I grew up in the 90s. Not only was this pre-Covid stuff but try this was also pre-9/11 stuff! Life was so much better back then. Long Live The 90’s. People forgot how good the 90s were it’s more than just cartoons that was just one little piece of life..
