My thoughts exactly. They also can't profit off opioid addicts if they're treating pain and inflammation AND detoxing from thistle. It's all about the money. That's why I'm learning herbalism and apothecary

I can't believe it....I have 2 bull thistle plants in my garden which are 6' tall. I originally wanted to save the seeds to plant a complete border of them around my father's small corn field to keep the coons and ground hogs out. So I found this video and had no clue how beneficial they are...thank you!

There are different varieties of thistle but as far as i know they are all edible. Look through my channel for the other thistle videos to see the plant in different developmental stages. Like the flowering and the seeding stages to help you better compare identify the plants.

Brilliant video. Nice to see that people care enough about important skills to teach others too. Maybe it would be easier to collect the seeds if you tie a thread around the fluff just before they fall off. Then you'd just have to rub the seeds off the bundle instead of picking them all off one at a time. You can make paint brushes with the fluff if you wind thread around the seed ends of it in a small bundle and setting it into a small hollow cane. Thanks again for the videos.

Do you need to dry them first or can they be used right away after harvest. Another question is whether bull thistle has the same medicinal quality. I have some thistles on my property but not sure whether they are bull thistle or milk thistle.
