I grew up on Long Island NY aka Strong Island NY the 🏡 Rakim EPMD Public Enemy Dela Soul Leaders of the New School Prince Paul from Steasonic Rick Rubin from Def Jam Doctor Dre from Yo MTV Raps JVC Force Freedie Foxx Keith Murray K Solo Original Concept Craig Mack Prodigy from Moob Deep Biz Markie Grand Daddy IU and Roc Marciano to name a few. I grew up during the early 80a and i witnessed the Block Parries and Park Jams all ovee L.I. and i waa in the Boros as well. To grow up wjen Hip Hop was in its infancy waa a site to behold. This movie and xlip sends chills to my 55 year old Hip Hop soul. This is Hip Hop im its purest form. And salute to the Boogie Down Bronx the birthplace of Hip Hop that spread to the other four Boros, Strong Island and Upstate NY then all over the country and World . NY was and will always be the Mecca of Hip Hop and that's facts.

Wild Style, where it all started for a lot of us in the early 80's, a lifestyle never forgotten, often copied recently...... you'll never replicate the original hip hop/rap culture

dude my older bros were pre-teenagers when this came out then. Todays hiphop sounds nothing like this unfortunately. Graffity, rap, and dancing were all one back then. everythings seperate nowdays.

bought this album in 85 at the age of ten, started a love affair that even lil wayne drake nikki minaj soulja boy and flo rida cant completely finish...even now i can remember the lyrics word for word...
