I knew it, the PC version of Riven also needs animation cancelling in order to properly utilize her skills and potential, so of course the WR version will also have animation cancelling.

In Yasuo specifically there is an animation cancel of keyblade. But in Akali, she can't perform cancel animations except flash + ult (or ult + flash) One of the examples of Akali cancel animation is ult + 3rd (during the dash animation), it can't be done in wildrift tho. I played both champs in PC, so I know how it's done.

Rey Francis Frias well you can still spam 3 and its still came out relatively quick. Beside akali is known for her shroud and massive damage. Riven is actually a trash champion without animation cancel it's her core

Fun tip for riven: by dragging away your movement wheel towards the enemy, you could do the auto attack cancel animation while doing her 1st skill

Thank you for the tips😁. I bought Irelia first then unlocked riven with the event and Irelia is quite hard for me to control although I can use some of her combos. Riven on the other hand is easier to handle for me because her Ult is a 2 times like akali which is my main and her combos are also lit, this one could help me play riven more, arigathanks😁

The only problem of this is even though the animation was cancelled the damage or effect is still comes in order, it might look fast through animation but the dps is still not fast as the PC version For example: In PC version if you try E > W, both skills are activated but in WR the stun will effect after the E ended. (You can really notice there that Amumu stuns at the end of E instead in Riven's last position Same on the other combo. Another difference is the auto cancelling, a macro which makes Riven she really is. Im a high elo Riven main in PC version And hope they really implement these macros soon But the animations are still coool though

I never played riven on pc so this vid helps me a lot ❤️

Using Q and W together is counter intuitive in my opinion bcuz if you use both stuns together it will stun enemy for just 0.75 seconds and after that you can do nothing but wait for stun cooldown but if you gap Q and W stuns you can stun the enemy for 1.5 seconds while you AA them with charges in between.

I guess he showed that combo just for the burst, not for high optimization of her skills, also theres E+AA+(Q+W) (doublecasting Q and W, idk if WR admit this combo) to explode the electrocute rune in lane phase

@@Isvvc it does admit double casting, it was shown in the video anyway. But instead if using Q3-W, you can be smarter and a better riven player and learning how to animation cancel QW without using your E. Q+W wont do anything alone, you cant animation cancelling Q+W or W+Q. But if mid Q you put an movement command and press W after that, you can cast W mid your Q. Riven most important short trade but it's also one of her hardest combos ever: Q+click+W+aa+E(away), always remember to animation cancel aa+E to avoid enemy retaliation.

@@tophersuwita If done correctly you can trade your opponents without taking any damage. Also, the E+WQ+aa isnt that good anyway. it's better if you do E+aa+WQ double casting the WQ

You can and auto before the E + W + Q E + auto + W + Q you can still double cast the W + Q after the E + AA but u have to be fast enough

the 2nd combo is only good on squishy targets combine it with ult ur gonna be an assasin if ur against a tankier matchup try to utilize the time of your cc and passive

Hey have you guys seen the bugs where she can use her q 5 times by flash or using rocket belt

there are animation cancels that aren't present in wild rift: 2nd + 3rd 3rd + Ult (without 1st)

they can interrupt your dash and because you have to waste the first two instances of Q and your dash you have no quick escape option besides flash

It's not. Drag movement wheel after each Q proc to chain into AA. Full Q/AA combo is 1 second faster in total that way.

If you wonder, i've been playing these 2 a lot. Here is the Champ that counter them 1st, Irelia. So Irelia counter so far is... a lot? Renekton, Darius, Garen literally any tanky Champion in Baron. 2nd, Riven, A. Darius, maybe in early Darius get bullied hard, but once he gets level 5, you better stop trying to 1v1 unless you're so sure about your skill. Counter back Darius is get away if he gets 5 stacks, and attack him back when he runs out of stack Which wins if they both fight each other? Obviously Riven, but in early game, it's skill based, it's either both. If mid game/late game, Riven is obviously gonna dominate Irelia hard. Irelia have a decent defense, but not as defensive as Riven.

I know how to make 0.5 sec combo on riv but it's too risky if you miss a single skill

You forgot to note that you can cancel your first ability animation with auto attacks to make your first ability and auto attacks way faster

2nd -> 3rd is inefficient. By the time the stun ends, your shield will be gone Its only good to cancel channelings or to chain stun. Instead 1st -> 3rd or 2nd-> 1st -> 3rd

Play at 1.5x to understand better!!
