I like this deck. It's straightforward, in flavor for the universe, and definitely has a skill ceiling with knowing when to do things like Loatheb and Okani.

23:55 you didn't actually float a mana, it was that stupid bug with wild growth where it gives you a full mana crystal until you play a card, so you can't actually use it but it prevents you from triggering finale

It's not all that surprising! - Highlander Hunter was tippy-top of the Standard meta once, and now there are even more great cards for it!

Druid for example tends to have many cheap spells and a few impactful minions, so its good to choose minion because its easy for them to test with spells, and they actually have to remove Okani to play a minion. Shadow Priest is the opposite, many cheap minions and their few spells often kill you.

The most significant factor is this deck’s success is that Dreadmaw + Serpentbloom and Okani -> Loatheb are very funny. Wild Hunter with no Rexxar hero power, though 😔

I cannot comprehend chatters who moan about a deck being played being weak like all they want to see is even shaman and quest mage. Do they not see enough of that on ladder? This decks is cool and wins, go somewhere else if you want to see tier 1 decks.

Wait this is weird, so hydralodon doesn't get the buff of being the next beast, so that means colossals happen at the exact same time as summon, which means that objection should counter the minion, not the colossal. It still stops the colossal and battlecry though, but the rogue secret that stuffs them in a bag doesn't stop batzlecry, but colossal idk... Wtf blizzard. Nerf the objection bug or make a rule for speed, like 1. Played 2. secrets 3. Played Effects 4. Deathrattles go off in waves or order of play and generally what the card says first happens first... All of this nonsense is because they just code it to work as a card, not as a system

I think the only good legendary is Brann in this new mini set. The other two don't seem worth making the cut, especially the highlander elemental guy, his effect is so bad as highlander they pre-emptively gave his effect to a tier 3 excavate that any deck can get.
