Awesome mix. Hats off to the sound engineer(s).
I just got turned on to this record. I could tell after the first few bars of A Woman's Wisdom there was a strong Todd Rundgren influence. He's one of my all time faves. I've been listening nonstop, love it to pieces!
so much relaxation.
These guys are good. Great, clean sound.
I love his guitar so much

Nice observation. This album does have a "Low-Life" vibe to it, which is probably why I like it so much, given that "Low-Life" is my favorite New Order record.

+Pierre Conrad my favorite New Order album is Brotherhood, i actually have it up on my channel. It's pretty rare to find and doesn't get a lot of attention out side of Bizarre Love Triangle

Hell yes I'm so glad I found this. Where is the mustache drummer though?
The keyboard melody in the beginning of "TV Queen" sounds kind of like the Psychedelic Furs song "Love My Way", but that may just be me.

The kid reaction on 16:27
This album is really terrific. Shame it's flying so far under the radar. I'd place it at #3 for the year (behind Bowie's Blackstar and Grapefruit - Kiran Leonard). "Reichpop" is also SotY material.

I just think it was underwhelming for most people being that they "expected" this to live up to Nocturne's songwriting and/or Gemini's charm.
@PieBlaCon

KateBushStan I thought it was his best effort yet. It certainly doesn't have the charm of Gemini, but it doesn't have the filler either.

yep! he also played keys in Girls before they broke up
I'm really impressed by this album. It certainly feels more like a band. But the songs themselves just aren't as catchy. Good for him branching out though. He's certainly accomplished that.
ladies and gentlemen, on the keyboard, Ron Howard's nephew.

what drum is???
I love GEMINI AND NOCTURNE but LIFE OF PAUSE is the TOP of the TOPS
are they change their drummer?
Sound way better live. Their new record honestly put me to sleep, I found it quite boring, but i'd definitely see them live.

I promise you, listening to the record after seeing them do it live is a whole new experience. I thought LOP was just so-so before and now I like the new record (almost) as much as I love Nocturne.
at 9:21 stephen hawking´s voice posseses him
GEMINI IS THE BEST - IMO
haha poor kids listening to the Wild Nothing so young..now thei'r lives will be in vain, nothing will ever make sense again :D
is the drummer off? I feel like he's playing too fast.
Een jongensstem, net als ...

Their melodies are great, really, really great. But they need to get a lyricist for them, cause ... Fuck. I even feel bad liking an album with such bad lyrics.
