Wild Mushrooms of Spring and Summer
A collection of wild mushrooms commonly found throughout the months of May to July in Southern Ontario. Watch as we harvest and discuss many of the attributes of these wild fungi.
Remember to do your own research before attempting to Identify and consume any wild mushroom. This is not an official guide to wild mushrooms and I am not to be held responsible if you decide to eat a toxic mushroom..Other than that enjoy the video and i hope you find it interesting.

I love 'Indian Pipes' and if I'm not mistaken they're of the 'Wintergreen Family'. I live in West Haven, CT just outside of New Haven in a very well established neighborhood, I'm the only one with wild plants such as Mugwort, Queen Ann's Lace and Wild Asters and I have had Puff Balls and Morels pop up on occasion. I love it when that happens. Your program is wonderfully informative, thank you. Have a nice day and follow your bliss.

I found a ton of golden oysters this year. Do you get them up there?
The bolitus, are those best to dry out?
The "Golden Chanterelle" you mentioned @ 11:45 could be "Smooth Chanterelle".
