@Gypsy Well, that might be true, but it isn't the African population that promotes it, I would say. It's most likely some rich dude from the west that promotes it as an adventure time for rich folks. I knew an old guy who was a passionate trophy hunter. He had a room full of animal heads, most of them from Africa. I was about 14 or so at that time, and asked him "isn't that stuff dangerous?" He replied with something like "The animal was already picked way before I shot it, it wasn't random. There are people that mark the kill, and then the guides take you to it and provide you with a situation so you can kill it safely." He told me that the most dangerous situation was a bison that split from the herd and kept following him and the rest of the crew to exact revenge. That bison almost killed a guide. Some years ago, he donated the collection to a museum or so. His daughter started disliking him for it after she grew up to realize the wrongness of everything.
