Pokémon of the Wild Imaginary West?!
A mammoth drawn carriage would sound cool for the imaginary wild west, Maybe set up in Alaska or something with heavy snow.

Make it in Canada, and be something from the Hudson Bay Company or something similar.
Boylei has by and far the best narration in the diorama community
How do I keep my comment short when there’s so many things I love about this build?!! Landscape, narration, painting, storytelling, editing…you’re a pro in every aspect!

Speaking of keeping things short, I really wish that these videos were about twice as long - there's so much beautiful crafting detail that it's a crying shame that what we see of the creative process is rushed through at almost breakneck speed. Please BHT, don't edit out so much, make them longer! 🙂 (even if that means some 'dead air' when you're not talking).
Got to say, I do love the wild imaginary West. When the sad day comes that you've decided to put away the West, I hope we get to see something new. Like apocalyptic tomorrow or pirates in space.. or something crazy fun like that!

Pirates in space could be good

@@Captainthefurry I'll second the Space Pirates idea. Think of all the cool (solar) sailing ships for the pirates to fly and plunder! 😁 Not to mention all the cool sea creatures-type of things to fend off.
Luke Towan does a GREAT video on doing a "dried up mud puddle" So convincing!!

You always seem to pick the right songs to make your creations come alive at the end of the video. This one was no exception.
I love terror birds! They’re perfect for the Wild imaginary west
I love the lore bits scattered around these videos, how different things works and what they do, like the wire-mesh and to be tuned to the right frequency. It makes the world feel alive!
The imaginary west would make one hell of a tv show.
That tip for interchanging mini heads with the styrene rod is super useful! The bird reminds me of Kevin from up 😆 Love how through all of the experimentation as you go a long you end up with an awesome realistic looking landscape. Great stuff!
I like the colors on the thunder chicken. Fun diorama as usual. See you next week.

It's okay to sound like a broken record; every video could be someone's first video. Awesome diorama, as always.
It's because of you I wanna make historical dioramas as a career, I've watched you for awhile now and every time I see a new video it keeps my dream alive, keep doing what you do.
love the inclusion of Terror Birds, such an under utilised creature!
In Queensland I've seen towers disguised as palm trees, like a king palm. Also: the Citadel crackle paints tend to come in pairs - the grainy one does smaller cracks, the goopy one does bigger cracks. Painting them over a gloss varnish really helps the cracks open up on bases.
Cool. Monster Road-runner. Landscape is ace.👍
I love this idea of clashing both eras in a confrontation, next you should do knights fighting off carnotoruses
Really liked the design of the base,
Your work is amazing, viewers really just need to buy the toy set they love, and watch your videos, their toys become more valuable as soon as they start following these instructions.
I feel like it would be cool to see a bunch of caravans in a snowy setting, crossing the Wild Imaginary West and encountering a herd of mammoths. I really enjoy your videos
Boylei Hobby Time, you and Gameyy Builds have to be two of the most outstanding YT channels in this genre around, I love your Imaginary wild west series. Thanks for posting another great video.
The first minute reminded me of Sid from Toy Story😂
It looks awesome! Those are some huge drumsticks. :)
I was surprised, with your mentioning of the Saguaro-camouflaged towers, that you didn't segway into including a forestall mounted on top of one in the build!
Fun to see the reappearance of a terror bird in the wild! Gotta say, I especially love your little dialogues in the background!
Another great addition to your worldbuilding; love the explanations for both how the circus bird isn't bothered by town fore-stalls and why the feral one isn't deterred by this unfortunate traveler's... Nice to see a more obviously desert scene; great attention to color and detail!
Always an excellent video and presentation.
I love this series - I hope you make a diorama with a big ol monstery animal and a group of people who are on good terms with it.
What a cool diorama, very well done. Any chance of a "tamed" bird that could carry a person? Maybe some kids raising one and riding it without any grown-ups knowing about it? Great story on the circus tent having a Faraday cage in it.
This one was a lot of fun. The terrorbird fits suprisingly well.
I love it when you say "gexo board" 🥰😘😄
The rocky base looks amazing.
this was amazing wish i had talent like this
a terror bird sounds awesome
Great work as always, Boylei! Your Wild Imaginary West is always fascinating! You 'surgery' on the figure isn't all that "controversial;" just refreshingly "Old School." No less a modeler than Sheperd "Shep" Paine gave the same advice on his Diorama Tip Sheets that came with many Monogram kits in the mid 1970's when he suggested cutting figures apart with a razor saw and "swapping" parts to create new poses. (We didn't have 3D Printing back in the day, after all . . . .) Thanks for sharing this with us! 21st like.
A monster attacking a horse drawn canal boat could be a cool idea, i think it would really emphasize your talent in both land- and water-scapes as well as having really nice motion to it
I work at a western movie set called Old Tucson. We have a water tower that is actually a cell phone tower. In order to mask it for filming, they made it look like a water tower (it's a bit skinny, but it works). Great video!
Hey Boylei! Big fan! Long time listener first time caller here. I've discovered a great technique that I'd like to share with you for cracked earth effect. Dry wall plaster filler/crack or gap filler mixed with plaster of paris. Experiment with the mix for different sizes of cracks. Plaster absorbs the moisture from the filler and creates the cracks. Love your work!
"Oh, no! It's the dreaded dire Rhea!!" 😂
as a non-american, every "cactuses" was so painful lmao, love the build as always
Keep it up. Not only are these entertaining, but you've synthesized a lot of really helpful techniques in your projects. Can you do a project with a group of medieval knights walking out of a portal created by a western mad scientist and fighting off a group of outlaws riding tamed bipedal alligators? At high noon of course.
Hello Boylei- my daughter and I just enjoyed another WIW video😊❤
Martian Ironearth is probably what you were looking for. Mordant Earth works the same way, but is black instead of read. Always such a joy and inspiration to watch your videos! Great work!
Beautiful diorama Glad terror birds receiving recognition, they are just so different and cool to the predators we have today.
Good to see we both found the same terror bird image for the paint scheme. 😂
Absolutely love it! As always. That cowboy has very poor aim though... Thanks! Good stuff.
Fanciful and delightfully done.
Another solid video boylei.... The g is silent in saguaro, they make palm tree towers here in Tucson

Sa-war-o....thank you. Aside from that one tiny (but annoying to any Arizonan or Mexican) flaw, this gentleman is a amazing artist. He would do well making museum quality or even movie quality work. The Smithsonian or Hollywood needs Boylei on their payroll.
Love a Sunday evening watching the latest video from you. Thanks.
Love the Wild Imaginary West. When I first saw it, I was like “huh, that sounds a little odd, and I’m not a huge western fan” but then I saw it and this is fantastic. Thanks for another great video, Boylei!
Truely such an inspiration, you do incredible work. Keep it up! Thank you.
This is great! Glad to see your process here.
Definitely love the new Wild Imaginary West logo in the beginning.
Your videos make me so happy 😊😊
These videos are quiet relaxing. Also the very simple, yet not flat humor is also just soothing. Thanks!
its a small thing, but i really appreciate how positively you spoke about the saguaro (which is typically pronounced without a g sound btw). theyre probably the most famous cacti despite only being native to one area, but a lot of cacti in general get overlooked, so it still makes me happy to hear them talked abt. arid and semi arid climates are underappreciated in general imo (so tired of the desert = wasteland idea). loving how this world is coming along btw
Some sections of your 'older, dirtier' hobby mat look like old strategy games where you see the map/landscape and the grid on top
Even your quick small builds are not only amazing but also a great storyline to them also. 👍👍👍
Run, Flicka, RUN!
It’s fun seeing you convert the same guys in 1/72 that I work with in 1/32.
You know, we really gotta see boylei do a mammoth diorama
In Massachusetts they color match cell equipment to brick smoke stacks on old mills, and attach it to the old mill smokestacks.

"Don't be ridiculous." 🤣
Terror birds happen to be one of my favorite extinct animals.
Very nice build, as always ❤
I think it would be cool to see some type of big ol' homeade wild imaginary west battlemech blasting a large monster!
Honestly at this point just get a writer and bring this stuff to life. you've struck gold I tell you GOLD!!!
There's not enough Return to Oz references in the world 😂
Return to Oz.. my favorite of all the Oz movies. :)
It's always a real pleasure to watch your builds. We want more stories 😍
Always love watching your videos so creative
Fantastic work as always! Thank you!
Nice and simple build for the week.
Wow, the landscape looks fantastic! Great work as usual, C. Thanks for the mention! : )

Princess Mombi! Such an underrated film. Although not anywhere near as terrifying as Journey Back to Oz. Nightmare fuel of the highest calibre. Superb diorama as always; I find the way you carve foam so enjoyable to watch!
Great work, I can't wait to see everything displayed together. We need to build you a very large workshop/studio so you can display them. stay safe and God bless you
That mix of textures and tones in the terrain is top-notch, man! Great work!
Faraday tent, ingenious as always!!! Also, I only very recently learned that Saguaro only grow an arm about every 100 years-ish, so that’s a heck of an old grove you’ve got there! Awesomely done!!!
The landscaping is fantastic!
That was good, thank you!
Great idea, scene lookz amazing with this bird :D
Really cool 👍
Another awesome diorama to add to the wild imaginary west 😊
I’d love to see some type of monster that lines up with the stories of the heavy rainstorms out on the plains
Probably one of my favorites you’ve worked on yet!
Perhaps we could see a wild imaginary west giant beaver, constructing a dam, with some folks observing from the top of the dam that are very impressed with the beaver's creation. Maybe mix in a resin pour and water effects for the top and bottom. Showing the full waterway of the pond, and areas for the inside and outside of the dam. Add some baby beavers inside (adorable) and some fish swimming in the beaver pond. Great video as always this week.
The animals never escape the circus tent either.
Love your videos Watched nearly all so far Keep up the brilliant builds
Love it.
That bird looks beautiful and scary.
I've never been particularly drawn to westerns, but there's something about the wild imaginary west that makes me really, really want it as a setting for a tabletop roleplaying game...
Amazing video as always! I love watching your videos for inspiration and technique for my own projects!
Solid work! Thanks 🖖🐰🍷
Best hobby channel on youtube; fight me. Great work as always, every boylei video is a banger. The worldbuilding alone is amazing. keep it up man
Still loving this whole concept. I hope you keep it going for a little bit longer.
I love love love your videos so much!! They’re super entertaining and inspirational. Great work as always 👍
Phoenix has a lot of palm tree antennas. Just like the pine trees, they only fool the other palm trees. Lol
