Hey. A cowboy buys a horse from the town pastor. The pastor explains, “To make the horse go, you gotta yell, ‘Thank God!’ And to make it stop, yell, ‘Hallelujah.’” The cowboy rides away. He rides all day and starts to nod off in the saddle when he notices he is about to ride straight over a cliff. Searching his memory, he yells to the horse, “Hallelujah! Hallelujah!” The horse grinds to a stop just at the edge of the cliff. The cowboy wipes the sweat off his forehead. “Phew!” the cowboy sighs. “Thank God!”

A horse goes up to his farrier, complaining of back pain. "My back hooves are too long, and my front hooves are too short!" he says. The farrier checks him out and suggests to the horse that he trim his back feet and put shoes on the front. The horse frowns and says "I dunno, I'm scared to get shoes put on... the nails look dangerous and all the hammering sounds scary." The farrier says "Just give it a try, I'm sure it will make your back feel better." The horse mulls it over and decides, "Hmm, alright, I'll try it out if you think it will help my back." Then the farrier goes around and trims up the horse and puts his shoes on. After he's done, the horse trots around happily, clearly feeling much better. "What do you think of the shoes now?" says the farrier. The horse says, "I stand corrected!"
