INDEED : When resisting arrest and running , it is police policy nationwide ( as of today cuz CA may abdicate from the USA ) for dogs to bite until resistance stops. Also , a police K9 is an officer. Striking the dog adds charges in most jurisdictions. I love police K9s.

A long time ago here in San Diego the K9 officer was with a high speed chase and it ended on the Coronado bridge and they deployed the K9 and the suspect and the K9 fell off the bridge and he got hit with a murder of a police officer charge cuz he survived but the police K9 didn't 😿 I remember it was so sad. I remember that the K9 officer's name (the dog) was Stryker. He was a good police dog and it really hurt the city. I never will forget that case. Rest in Paradise Stryker 🙏🏿❤️🐕🐶 🚓

Judge Bryant is one of these.

Your honor, my client would like to admit he knew it was a cop, he knew people were in danger with the chase but sped up anyway, and he believes cops can’t stop you. And he admits he got out and ran too. The only thing he didn’t admit was fighting the dog. I totally agree you will flop around while a dog tears at your tendons, it’s a built in function. He gets a pass on that and the trooper was being clever with that.

And yet again I am floored that people don't read or may just be ignoring the proper way to zoom. If I were a judge, I would call that contempt if they couldn't or won't make their image viewable. No lights behind you. Bare wall behind you. Light in front of you and shining on your mug! Also, the camera has to be still and pointed at you as if you are getting a school picture. Lastly, I wouldn't allow anyone to do it from their car as it leads to interference of court proceedings while the numbnut pulls over or lies about being parked. These are simple rules and if they can't be followed, that person is guilty of whatever crime they might have done! BOL

Andrew Sluiter has a GiveSendGo page online, trying to raise 20k to pay an attorney because, “a corrupt police agency wrongfully accused him.” The site further states that, “Andrew Sluiter is a good Christian, and needs to be out of jail so he can raise his three children.” I noted on a different website that Andrew Sluiter has a rap sheet first starting when he was 17 years old. I do not know if he was in trouble as a juvenile. Interesting to see how a defense attorney tries his best when dealt a bad hand.

That's what I was afraid of hearing his testimony. I would be very surprised if he didn't have some sort of mental illness. The way he spoke and the detail he went into describing his conspiracy theories and gangstalking accusations feels genuine. Not like someone trying to feign insanity. It's not over the top crazy, just truly disturbing ideas and actions that show someone is not in the right headspace.

"He was in the process of running when I gave those commands" .. Defence shuts up ... Sluiter sounds 'normal' and pretty lucid, but quickly shows his sov-cit hand! Then his conspiracy theories "I've done nothing wrong and you're trying to kill me" after being told he has a warrant and drives wrong way down a road!!! I simply, 'specially in the UK where I am, can't understand why people don't comply when police want them to stop, it's my experience that doing so keeps you alive and intact, 'specially with a Land Shark (dog) deployed. Running and fighting often doesn't. Great summary by Prosecutor. Defence is trying but so weak and simply wrong. Judge is excellent. Great video, thanks.😜

It may be a standard-of-proof thing. IANAL, so I don't know for sure ... but I think bond revocation doesn't require 'beyond reasonable doubt' but either 'preponderance of evidence' or 'clear and convincing'. Then the more extensive evidence required to meet 'beyond a reasonable doubt' wouldn't be necessary.

26:26 oh no, he didn't 'hear' the officer say to stop running? I'm sure the police chase, pit maneuver, and driving against highway traffic until he bailed from the car to run away from the police car with flashing lights and siren with an officer holding a police dog yelling didn't give him any clue at all that he was being told to stop.
