I was on skye last week, it was too busy with traffic and people. so left and headed to the east coast of Scotland. But i will be visiting skye again later in the year out of season, when its less busy. In all my travels in Scotland, i have never encountered the midges.

Was there in my new-ish camper a couple of weeks ago...the council on Skye aren't particularly keen to maintain roads there 😮. Suspension got a thorough road test during the few days 😂

Hi Guys Great video as usual brings back memories of Skye one of our favourites is the Skeabost House Hotel. Many moon s ago we rented a but an ben very close to it and dined in the public bar which had the same quality of food as the main hotel. A few years later we stayed in the hotel for a few nights and we can recall that the Skye Bridge was in the construction phase. The ferry was a treat in the old days! These were the days of the 88 BMW 316 2 door! Regards Crawford from a very wet West Sussex coast today

How funny! I stayed at that spot by Sligachan just 10 days ago and it was the only place we found that was midge free 😂 The wee falls there make a lovely dip as well. I wonder if you guys have done Spar cave yet? That's next on the Skye bucket list for us. 😊
