Dude I remember watching your video about the Mario kart 8 main menu prediction in 2012, now 4 years later, I somehow come across your channel again and I'm like,"Oh I remember this guy!" And I find this video, and I'm like, "woah how does this guy do that..." keep up the great work! (+1 sub)

I both wish the Wii U did better and am glad it didn't. The hardware was mediocre, but the games were great. I'm ready for new hardware and more enjoyable first-party Nintendo software.

Hey, thanks for the kind words! First of all, as stated in credits, the song was made by Shirobon and Protodome in 2015, they're both great artists and I highly recommend their other songs. I have no musical talent whatsoever, so I'll just stick to video editing. A few months ago, Apple made a video showcasing their newest product lineup. The video was pretty fast-paced and I was impressed by the unique editing style of theirs. This is what inspired me to make this video a couple of months later. Just last week, while showering, I got an idea to tell the story of Wii Us lifetime in a similar style of the Apple video. It felt like the timing was right as well, since production of the Wii U had just ended. I spent a good amount of time in my iTunes music library looking for chiptune songs that would suit the video. Eventually I stumbled upon the song "(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧" (best song name ever), and started editing the video. This took some time, especially when you have to mark the beats of the songs, insert the game titles from Wikipedia, add effects, and figure out what to put in/leave out. I love video editing in general, so I had a good time making it. Being the big Nintendo fan I am, I was very excited about the Wii U when they first announced in 2011. Even though it wasn't a big success, I like the Wii U and I've spent many hours playing great games on the system. My favourite part of the Wii U is the fact that you can have, in some games, local multiplayer with five people simultaneously. And in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, even up to eight players! The Wii U is in other words a great console for local multiplayers, and I've had many fun game nights of Mario Kart and Smash Bros with friends. I'm also pretty excited about the Nintendo Switch (I have it preordered) and I'll be using it a lot while commuting on the train every day. The fact that you can play TV console games everywhere is really fun. This is a KZread channel I've had since I was 13 years old, I started it in June 2009. I've made over 170 videos and I still love making them. I do mostly Nintendo related videos, such as "Nintendo Switch eShop UI Concept Video", "How big is Hyrule in Breath of the Wild?" and "5 fun private Splatoon games". I also want to make it clear that is not a "Let's Play"-type of channel. Other than Nintendo, I also upload videos around the subjects of design, travelling, time-lapses, cinematography and anything else I find interesting. Thanks again! ˙ ͜ʟ˙
