This makes no sense. You can’t raise money like that. You’d rather give a shareholder loan to the subsidiary company (which is the correct way of doing it) as opposed to raising 5 different senior debts (which you have no idea how to pay off in the short or medium term). Also, you cannot just “move” assets into a trust. You can either sell them to the trust or donate them. And either course has consequences. You will pay tax on either disposal. If your intention of moving those assets to a trust is to prevent the banks from realising their interests on the loans you took from each of them, they will not only go after that trust but can come after your own estate. This is actually fraudulent if that’s what you’re advising. Do you see how your scribbles are problematic?

Me too either, he's correct in most cases but an entrepreneur wouldn't discourage diversification. Of course, it's a necessary risk to take. Owning one business is the risk itself! 😅
