Matt, leave the engine running for at least 30 seconds before switching it off or your going to kill that turbo! When you switch the engine off, it instantly stops the lubricating oil to the turbo, so give the turbo a bit of time to allow the spinning speed to slow to tick over. I'm sure you already knew this but got carried away with the lovely new toy!

dylan young it’s true. Turbo’s need oil. Big turbo’s keep spinning long time after you put the engine off. And when the engine is off. Oil pump also doesn’t work. But if Matt wants a bigger turbo without Mere to say no. This is the way to get rid off this one.

Yeah!, I had a 350 mackizdyne engine suddenly stop (air compressor lost a connecting rod,blasting both sides of it's crankcase causing ALL the engine oil to rapidly spill out)turbo shut down under full load and burnt the bearings immediately, told my boss to send mechanic, air comp. And turbo,they wasted extra time going back for the new turbo LOL!!!!

Lincoln: takes 5 ton for his drivers test. Matt: That's my boy! Drivers examiner: visibly gulps.

@@BernieDiaz once you know how to parallel park you can parallel park anything. It just takes special awareness and understanding how the vehicle will respond. I have had to parallel park my semi with a trailer a few times. If anything Matt's 5 ton would be easier since it has all the cameras. Plus with how high that back bumper is he can back it up over a car's hood to maneuver better. Actually he may have to have that checked out for dot regulation

Awesome 5 ton. We have been trying to get a Japanese Mini Truck with a lift for our equine therapy program. Our program has several clients in wheelchairs or with a physical disability that a mini truck with a lift would be perfect. Plus when we go to hospitals it would helps us get the kids onto the horses.

Buy an 18 wheeler trailer and make the biggest camping trailer ever.

Okay just two ideas to fit the 5 ton in the barn. 1. Cut the top of the barn door higher by about 4-6 ft ( The boring way) 2. Put the truck on adjustable air ride suspension to raise and lower by like 3 feet.

I think Mere would prefer something like a custom Unimog.

@Dont ask you can get unimogs with a different gear ratio in the axles. With the fast axles they go up to 75 mph (if the unimog doens't have a speed limiter)

2 choices MATT.. * trim the garadge door on one side enuugh to fit it in the barn * put the 37s on the 5ton & 54s in the humvee ,it should fit.

That truck is so awesome :)

you can make that truck fit. Just cut out a rectangle above the door and put it on a big hinge so you can use a rod to push it up when you pull the truck in. Then you can drop the door and lock it into place somehow. Just don't forget to push it back open when you back out.

The Humvee looks adorable when it's side by side.
