Totally could have used some more info on the wives after math in story two.

I mean, these stories are all starting to become AI generated versions of other Reddit stories stolen from online and lots of those weren't even completely real to begin with, but it's still crazy to me in these stories that the one spouse changes the locks and moves all their stuff out in most cases that's incredibly illegal and they would get screwed over for that, especially in this story when the guy is a cop that really doesn't make sense. It depends on the sort of test you do but most (urine-) pregnancy tests only show a positive after 2 weeks because only then the pregnancy hormone is noticeable for the test in urine. But like i said other testmethods or more modern pregnancy tets might show it earlier

The most unbelievable part of this story so far is that this writer thinks a vasectomy is a simple “lunch surgery” and you go back to work right after. It just shows that the writer isn’t a man and means this story is probably fake. Every man I know that has had this procedure takes at least a weekend to heal. Another thing that makes this story fake after the vasectomy they test to see if the procedure took and make sure you are firing blanks, thank you KZread for making me use innuendo. This guy would have known that there is a test that he could have taken and if he was “unsure” he would have immediately scheduled that test. So, this story is fake.

Indeed, after the procedure they recommend you schedule a test after 27 or so sexual intercourses (either masturbation or sex with your gf/wife) to see if the procedure was a succes. Afterwards you can schedule an appointment a year later and if that one also shows succes you're never going to cause a pregnancy ever again. It's impossible.

Im a middle aged man, a physician, and a father. I never understood why men would get vasectomies. If you dont want another kid in your current relationship, have the woman either use birth control or get tubes tied. A vasectomy is practically permanent. For a woman, tubal ligation is more easily reversible. And if things dont work out with your current partner, and you meet someone new, you could have a child with them. Ive seen 70 year old men get women pregnant. Why would you rob yourself of that chance later on down the road

He doesn't deserve to get cheated on just because he never told his wife he had a vasectomy. If anything, him keeping it a secret (kinda by accident) proved to be the right choice because it helped him catch her red-handed. Should he have told her? Kinda, yeah. He likely would have if she had expressed interest in children and hadn't told him she didn't want any. He probably should have told her once she had baby fever but the whole reason he didn't tell her then was so he could catch her in the act at the doctor's. If he told her before then, she could have just gotten an abortion and he never would have known.

second story is fake as fuck. its litterally another story with differences. the wife of 20 years had stage 1 lung? cancer and survived and wanted a hall pass with a fat co worker, as the co worker would leave the country or state or something, so it was the perfect time for the hall pass, op didnt agree and she told him she would take the decision away from him, and cheated anyway

The wife is wrong for getting with someone else, but I'm side-eyeing the hell out of OP. The wife had the right to know about the vasectomy regardless of whatever actions she took later. I would divorce if I found out my husband kept that from me.
