Yeah a friend that knows but doesn't tell is quite simply not a friend at all. People like that like to hide behind fake concern saying they don't want to break the friend's heart, so they keep quiet "because they care too much" about your feelings, but that's such a horsesh-t excuse to defend their own spinelessness. It's _always_ better to be told so that you can take action on your own terms, and not be blindsided. It will hurt ten times more when you find out on your own several years later, and get blindsided by it, and you realize that not only have you been lied to and cheated on and made a fool out of for years, but your supposed friend(s) knew and didn't tell you. At that point not only is your marriage ruined but you're also faced with the fact that your friend isn't a friend at all.

It’s a little bit of a tricky situation the party that’s being cheated on can be so delulu they will more likely believe their partner than the friend unless we somehow manage to find solid evidence of the cheating and once they believe their partner instead of u ur the bad person so most people see this and just pretend like they don’t know anything because bringing it to light will cause them more harm than good where they can just leave things as is without getting involved in the couple’s affair pretty understandable imo

Story 2 is an absolute shit show. From the outside it was obvious and it was obvious from the inside. OP knew their relationship was over right after she tried to gaslight him. The funniest part is how she said she "wasn't" flirting. Out of everyone she could have said that to, OP was the wrong person. Her fiance would absolutely know what her flirting looks like. Like seriously how are they that dumb.

People used to actively raise women to search for and be married off to the wealthiest catches possible in hopes that it made financial and personal bonds or raising status with the wealthy spouses family. Mind you women then didn't have a choice in the matter, it was purely their families choice, but it still stands as the most 'old-fashioned' things a person could do. Maybe do a bit of research into history before spouting random spiteful nonsense , yea?

@@rabbitguts2518 False equivalence fallacy, as you explained yourself these women were groomed from childhood for the purpose of being married off to someone of significant wealth/status. Choice wasn't involved and they were expected to be loyal to that one person they married. This woman has complete freedom to do whatever she likes and she used it to betray her fiance for a guy with more money. So you can shove that bit at the end up your chocolate starfish, what I said remains valid regardless of how much it seems to hurt your feelings for some reason.

I have absolutely no self confidence whatsoever, i couldn't imagine asking my husband to rate the physical attractiveness of any of my female friends, letting him sleep around with them as well would probably kill me. He always compliments me and if i point out an attractive actress or someone he immediately frowns and says "not as much as you" my whole life I've been told by absolute strangers that would just walk up and blurt out that i look like Kirstin Dunst. I have never ever agreed since i don't see it in the mirror, I'm 5ft 1in and 94lbs. My husband is extremely attractive with thick black hair that now has that salt and pepper look. Lightly tan, bright green eyes and very solidly built, 6ft 4in. He's also just shy of 20 yrs older than me (we've had a very happy and successful marriage for 17yrs now). Women of all ages flirt heavily, come on to him, say inappropriate and plain or crude things to him. He's extremely attentive and loving, we even hold hands walking around. He indulges me bringing home any thing with fur or feathers that's in need. Despite trusting him, i can't help but compare myself to other women and feel ugly. This upsets him as he insists I'm beautiful. These women who cheat, or try to talk their loyal attentive husbands in to swinging and such and go around cheating on them is mind boggling to me. Very confusing. Absurd to me.

Story 2 is a completely ridiculous lie. You can't just apply to become a realtor. She could apply to work as a receptionist in the realty office, but would almost certainly be rejected without a work history related to real estate or clerical work. But, you need to be licensed to do any kind of actual realty work. She would've had to be working as a realtor to make this kind of swap. The implication from OP is that she wasn't working at all and had no work history prior to their relationship. It's telling, also, that the story would be written from the frame of "realtors are the same level of work as bank tellers" - why else would she apply to work as a teller if it wasn't the same level of work as a realtor? Why would a reasonable person compare these wildly different roles? OP is also written in the most disgusting way possible. The dude goes around acting possessively of the woman, as if he owns her. How dare she "disobey" him? His woman? He repeats this kind of shit over and over. That's a story told by a man who wants to spread this idea that all women are instinctive cheaters who will betray their loyal spouses. Nevermind that men are more likely to cheat than women, and cheat more often than women. Literally every study done on the statistics around this show that men are nearly twice as likely to cheat.
