Lame AF. Immediately differentiating a character by skin color. Giving white-face to a Latina. creating previous stories of evil ways into heroism. Showing the entire movie in the trailer. Dividing people, more, based on politics of who is accepted by the world. Don't pay to watch this movie. Ariana has been fully MK Ultra'd. You know what happens in Hollywood.

PLEASE STOP saying “I saw everything from the trailer.” If you haven’t seen it on Broadway, you don’t understand that this trailer doesn’t disclose HALF of what’s in this story… and that this trailer deliberately mislead you into thinking you know what’s happening :)

It does disclose half of the story. Exactly half, actually considering that this movie ends after defying gravity. They also clearly added a bunch of other crap that isn’t needed or necessary to fill the runtime. I’ve read the book and seen the show several times.

I love the character change. You slightly see in glinda when she sees alphaba put the hat on in the center of the room and she looks around. She looks sad and guilty. And I really love when she tells fierro that she's just pretending and she goes to hug her. I really like that. It shows their friendship or the beginning of their friendship off

I can't get over Goldblum as the Wizard 😂 what a great choice I never would have thought of.

I'm gonna be honest but the facade he goes by being the giant robotic head looks insanely good

People saying they saw the whole movie just by trailer…. Dude, it was more than two decades already, there’s nothing to hide about the story anymore. Trailer just teased the scenes that would be expected from the movie, how some characters would look like, and some changes they made for the movie compared to theater.

Can’t wait to watch it in the comfort of my own home so I don’t have to hear everyone singing 😅.

I’m already excited about this!!! I’ve danced to one short day with my dance group, I’ve seen the show twice and I even played the role of the lion in the wizard of oz twice!!! I can’t wait to see this with my entire family for my birthday!!!! It’s definitely gonna get wicked!!!

Phantom of the Opera was good but Gerard Butler was the weakest link😂 then when the play was on tour it was one of my favorites and first time ever experienced a Broadway show. Wicked was my 2nd and most favorite. Lion king twice because lion king has the best set design and costumes

I’ve never seen the musical, but is Glinda supposed to also be the secret villain? That’s how she came across in this trailer. Like she’s jealous of Elphaba/gave her an evil narcissistic stare at around 1:23 of this trailer, she looks evil. 1:28 she says about the witch hat “it’s my granny, I’d give it away but I don’t HATE anyone that much. Then gives it to Elphaba.

No, not really. Glinda is never a villain in the proper sense. They end up becoming friends and on opposite sides of a conflict in which Glinda tries to get Elphaba to be more realistic and less idealistic, but I don't think they ever hated each other again after their early school days.

Okay, The fact that the lady playing Elphaba made me smile when she scares Glinda has given me a little bit of hope. It's hard to trust Hollywood these days. I've been disappointed so many times with movies. PLEASE. Don't. let. Me. Down. Also I feel like Ariana is gonna steal the show. Ariana has one of those voices you know from anywhere. I also feel like she would be good in either role, but kinda fits glinda more. Also I am not used to hearing her normal voice.

As someone who read the books, I couldn't get into the musical at all, the way they bastardized and wrecked the meaning, plot and tone of the novel horrified me, but I think I would've liked the musical more if I saw it first. The songs from the musical are bangers, though, no misses there, I definitely have the whole soundtrack.
