I will always say obviously biggie didn't get a chance to reach while Jay-Z reached his peak now from a skill level I have biggie over Jay-Z because of biggie storytelling ability but barely jay gets busy the one thing Jay-Z has over biggie is lyrical drug rap

How can that guy say Biggie is not better than Jay Z. Is he on the payroll or what lol Jay Z himself says Biggie is the Goat. Biggie is the saviour of East Coast rap, he put them back on top after the West had taken it since NWA in the late 80s. Nas and Wu failed to do that - they had some clout in their neighbourhoods but couldn't go national with their debut albums which were overhyped by new York radio stations.

I love the idea of doing it region by region. Take the top 25-50 from the North, South, Midwest and West Coast and then do a top 10 from those lists Just doing a list from the West Coast would also include a Mix-A-Lot who always gets overlooked on these lists. Crucial Conflict The Tic definitely deserves more love as far as the Midweest is concerned. From the South, I'll go with Unpredictable or Piece of Mind. From the East, I think I will go with ODB's first album.
