    I LOVE how this is more like a celebration than something sad. Everyone is hyped up and ready to celebrate unlike most weddings I’ve experienced around here (I live in the Bible Belt of the US) This is the first time I’ve seen a Wiccan wedding. I’m pagan/Wiccan and this wedding speaks to me. I love it!! Def. wish to have a wedding like this one day!!

    That's so true. You're right, most Christian wedding sing boring and drab and even depressing. My fiance just said that he did not want a Christian wedding either because he rejected Christianity around 16 the way I did. He said that he does not want all those boring readings and stuff. I hope that if you find the right person and you have a Wiccan handfasting, I hope it goes well for you. I speak many blessings upon your life and upon your union whenever it happens. Plus it be, sister.

    Barn Owl Entertainment We aren't discussing whether Wicca and Satanism are the same thing. They aren't. We are discussing your wrong definition of paganism. If you have an issue with it, talk to the colonialists who ravaged the world with Christianity, not me. Satanists are pagan. Get over it. Also not sure why you immediately got mad at Satanists like where did that even come from smh

  • @synnny

    In the beginning, before they set up the pole you can hear women’s voices making noises that sound a lot like Native American ritual and this is something that needs to be recognized. People need to stop appropriating Native American tradition thinking its a part of Wiccan practice because it’s not... (Edit) *actually it is because Wicca is based in appropriation*, “Wicca” was created by Gerald Gardner. He stole aspects of African religious practices and indigenous religious practices and a small bit of Paganism and smooshed them all together and branded it “Wiccan” to make money off of them. Anything called “Wiccan” is by default appropriation. Thank you.

    You really think that out of millions amd billions of humans throughout history across the world, they're the only ones to have discovered those vocalizations and use them? It's only because of western media that you think that. So check your privilege, white girl.

  • @synnny

    @synnny

    @@aSandwich.13 I am doing exactly THAT. I AM checking mine and OTHER WHITE PEOPLE’s privilege by pointing out appropriation of Native American culture. You go do some research on appropriation.

  • @aSandwich.13

    @@synnny Who are you to speak for the natives? As if they are unable to speak for themselves? If you want to amplify their voices, then amplify THEIR voices. Not your own. You cry about "cultural appropriation" yet have only to look in the mirror and see your own "white savior" complex. Also you failed to answer my initial question. Do you really think that native americans are the only people in the history of the world to have made such vocalizations? If so, it's because of western media. Can you tell me which tribe were known for this? Just one, a few, all of them? There were many different tribes you know. If they all participated in this, then it's more than likely other cultures across the world did too. If it was only a few, then congratulations. You just lumped all native Americans together into a stereotype of what you perceive to be theirs. There isn't just one "native American culture". There are hundreds.

  • @synnny

    @synnny

    @@aSandwich.13 I am not trying to speak for anyone. Nor am I being a white savior, I’m not “saving” anyone. You obviously have misunderstood “white privilege” and “white saviorism” because you’re using them in a way that literally doesn’t make sense. I have amplified Indigenous voices if you want to check out a doc I made with resources and mutual aid funds, go ahead and drop some $$ on those docs.google.com/document/d/1-5G44lIoukHNQ5RVtGh_HTOQmTqsgN--itk6JoNh0MU/edit I am going to speak on whatever I want to other white people, like damn, people can’t be skeptical of appropriation when it’s something that goes on so frequently? I’m taking what I’m learning and I’m speaking on it. Done. NEVER did I say “all Indigenous folks do this”, at zero point did I say anything like that. I have never heard of any specific vocalizations taking place in Pagan practice like this. Also the horrific “Wicca” is actually some bullshit a white dude made up to capitalize on while stealing aspects of African religious practices and indigenous practices. Examples include sage burning and the use of crystals. It’s a slippery fucking slope. So yeah, I’ll continue to be skeptical. At no point did you have to answer my comment.

    First, if you're going to make such vapid comments, you should PROBABLY have a good grasp of speech and grammar. To "BREACH" is an act of breaking or failing to observe a law, agreement, or code of conduct. "BREECH" is relating to or denoting presentation of a fetus in which the buttocks, rump, or legs are nearest the cervix and emerge first at birth OR to dress (a boy) in breeches after he had been in petticoats since birth. If you're going to insult someone's wedding, make sure you're not completely fucking retarded 🙄🖕🏽 congrats on the wedding, Adam!
