Officiate the Perfect Wedding Ceremony with This Script (Like a Pro)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Instead of grabbing a canned pre-written script from one of the 695,691 webpages out there, start with my full 10-part classic wedding ceremony script outline instead.
A canned script is restrictive right out of the gate. It says, “I’m not really sure what I’m doing.” When we use a wedding ceremony script outline, it communicates to our couple that we’re both flexible and structured. The process ends up being way more collaborative, and the finished ceremony ends up being way more personal.
It’s the difference between “Hey, I bought this cake. Now eat it.” and “Hey, let’s make a cake!” Or something.
Here is the ceremony script outline I start with for 100% of the weddings I officiate: the classic 10-part wedding.
In this video, I'll show you how to write a wedding ceremony script with total confidence like a pro.

It was not perfectly done without out a hiccup but after watching all your videos (many times) I learned that no one knows the hiccup but me so make the best of them and keep it fun and enjoying... I just made it part of the wedding. Telling everyone that this part is where I always stumble but rest assure we will make it through this little hiccup.. and we all laugh a little... bride and groom loved it and guests said they really enjoyed the up beat relaxed feel of this wedding and thanked me .... I got 3 more weddings from this one wedding and they want the same laid back fun style wedding.... so I just want to say Thank you

Hello, I just wanted to write to you and say thank you. I had already put together a lot of my wedding ceremony as a one-day officiant when I discovered your videos, I had even written my own questionnaire to interview the wedding couple! Even though I didn’t need more specific help from you, I found your videos to be very informative, and quite encouraging for this novice. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate that you put all of this information out here and how kind and supportive you are to basically a community of strangers. I performed the wedding on Sunday to rave reviews from the bride and groom and family and friends, we had a wonderful time, and it was the just right thing for my very dear friends whom I officially married on Sunday. At any rate, I just wanted to thank you for being out there and putting this out into the universe, it was helpful and lovely and I think you’re terrific! Have a great day!

Oh my goodness - I can not thank you enough for all your guidance!!! I officiated my niece's wedding this past weekend and there is NO WAY it would have went as smoothly as it without your help here!!! It helped me from planning ahead of time, to meeting with the couple to plan the service, to the pep talk before the ceremony (which I'm a huge believer in now!!!), through the ceremony and right through the couple walking out married. So helpful - Thank you so much Mark!!! One suggestion for anyone else officiating for the first time - practice a few times a day or so before, out loud and live. Helps a lot!

+ Mark Allan Groleau Excellent video content! Apologies for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Chiveard Unique Speech Framework (probably on Google)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for learning how to give an outstanding wedding speech without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got great success with it.

Awesome videos Mark; thanks! About how long do your ceremonies go from the moment the bride arrives down the altar to the time of the recessional?

My lifelong best friend asked me if I would be willing to get ordained to officiate her wedding. Of course I accepted without hesitation. Being the scatter-brain I am tho, I panicked. Thank you for laying it all out for me in such a simplistic way! :)

Awesome video, thank you! First time coming up soon, and this was a huge help. One quick question: if the couple if reading their own vows, do you feel having them do a declaration of intent ("I do") is necessary? I didn't see that separate from self-written vows in your steps so curious if you feel this is needed or not. Thanks a bunch!
