My therapist literally told me fake it til you make it. And that has been the best advise I have received. If you have even a LITTLE energy- use it to pretend you have more than you do. It works. Go for a walk, drink a cup of tea, etc. But yeah, I feel you. Sometimes I just want to lay in bed for days and mope.

donskii donnertello what if i don’t believe in this “lake of fire”? furthermore, what if my beliefs align more with those of judaism, in that jesus was not the son of God, but rather a teacher of his personal religious beliefs? i’m not going to let you get away with threatening me on my life/potential afterlife and pretending that you’re doing it for some “greater good”. especially not when jesus himself begged people throughout his lifetime to not call him a king, and to not put him on the pedestal that many modern christians do today.

Here in 2020! Wanting to learn about Wicca. I'm in the deep south where everyone is very christian. Thank you for these lectures!

I was born in a Christian family and I still believe, but I look at the faith differently than most people. For example: Jesus dying on the cross can be seen as a blood sacrifice, Jesus tells his disciples to pray using specific words kind of like a witch casting a spell, Christian's have certain holidays on specific dates which mean specific positions of the sun, when God responded to Job he mentions the Mazzaroth, chords of Orion, Hades, and positions of the stars. But of course most Christians don't really read the bible thoroughly and think for themselves, it's mostly just a club to meet once or twice a week.

I have never been so compelled by a religion. I was raised christian but it never sat well with me, so I left when I was around 12 years old (around the time I started questioning myself and my morals). Since then I've considered myself an agnostic non-theist, for want of a title, but I've always been captivated by the energies and theories of the universe as well as Plato's and Aristole's type of philosophy. I feel like Wicca really lines up with my innate beliefs and desires and I'm so excited to delve into the information you've provided

Hey dear... even if you haven't been able to be morally right.. God loves you and Jesus shed his blood for this... He doesn't expect you to change and come.. he asks you to come as you are... May be you were raised in Christian religion but a relationship with Christ is what changes you dear Jesus loves you so much... I just started reading the solo wicca beginning book. Really nothing to be scared of it's not bad magic, it's just directing energy to an area that needs change or healing. I'd grab book and check it out for better understand. I got mine at local library so costed me nothing to find out more!!!

If it would feel more natural, begin with The Farmers Almanac. You dont have to call it anything. The old ways can be very rewarding, without giving anything a name. Look around, pay attention to Earth and her moons cycles. Plant something/grow food or medicine. Watch birds. Take a walk in the forest. Breathe deep and listen to everything around you. I’ve always been intrigued with witchcraft, the mystery and unknown really fascinates me. When I found out about Wicca i was really into it. I wanted to give it a shot, but didn’t know where to start. After watching this, it became so clear, I’m going to apply for this coven

I am not sure why it took me so long to find this. I consider myself a hedgewitch, I was born a natural witch. I have identified myself as a Wiccan ever since I was a young girl. This lecture series means so much to me and I would like to do the homework and such so I will be sending an email.

I cannot thank you enough for doing this. I have been looking for something like this for years.

Thank you so much for this course! I am in a place in my life where I'm searching through my spirituality and I have been drawn to Wicca since I was a child and I'm finally ready to look deeper. I can't wait to do the assignments!

I just wanna say ive studied on and off for years. I'm so glad you are teaching this properly and not feeding people b.s. you are one of the very few out there that deserve to be called a wise one. Awesome course I will be taking if for nothing else at least out of curiosity.

I come from a very "Christian " back ground and after casting aside fear, freely exploring what I wish in my search for the real Divine, I feel so liberated and so excited about life again. After learning about Wicca with an open mind and heart, I can't express how amazing and at peace I feel, like I was under all this weight, and now suddenly I'm not. There is just something beautiful and natural about it. I'm eager to learn all I can.

I feel like I have just woke up..........have done tarot years ago.....have read lots of books.....but it never clicked...........

Love the lectures. I’m so excited I found this journey. It’s eye opening for me because I feel like I finally found the “thing” I’ve been looking for.

I've always always believed in what Paganism inclines, felt it. I just knew. But I never knew the real definition of Paganism/Wicca/Wiccan until now. My great grandmother passed away recently. She was a high priestess, never spoke to me much about it as a child, I'm only 21 now. But I've had her tarot cards for a couple of years, recently she left me her scrying ball. Its as if her passing really gave me that nudge I needed to really engage and learn. Not because she passed, I'm still not sure why I've had this burst of energy lately. Now I had an experience (too many after) with dmt at 14. Troubled life, but after that I was shown and proven all life force, but with many outstanding questions. I know what I know about this universe , but now I finally have a way to practice & define what I know. Thank you for these lectures and your sharing of knowledge 🙏

Ive always been interested in Wicca. I was raised Catholic. But once i met my current partner, i wanted to start practicing and learning more about Wicca. Hes been Wiccan for several years. He has given me blessed charm. And has helped me with some protection spells. This has helped me understand more of what this religion is really about. I was a Christian but broke away from that. Then I claimed to be an atheist but sometimes, I feel like there is a god or at least something out there. I want to try this out because lately I’ve been scared of a lot of things that are gonna happen. I am in the exact same position as you. I was raised an atheist but I always felt like there needed to be more, like a god or goddess. I tried out Christianity, but being a gay trans guy I just couldn’t do it because I was considered a sin. I then found Wicca and paganism and I know this is right for me.

Grammatically, 'lest in self defense it be,' is a qualifier. Meaning, you are only subject to the rule of 3 if your actions aren't in self defense. I wonder if this qualifies to family as well, or only one's physical self.

Many take the law of three to only apply to magical acts. I go into all of this in the book I am writing, if I ever finish it. The placement of commas, differences in which words are used, subtle things like "an" versus "and" all play into how this can be interpreted. There is no one right way to interpret the threefold law, or the law of harm none.

"Coven" technically just means "religious family". You could have a coven of two inexperienced witches, sure, if you view each other like family and swear oaths to keep each others' secrets and such. The important thing isn't what you call yourself, though, but that you are practicing magic safely and respectfully, and in a way which benefits your own spiritual growth. I hope this helps. One of the great things about the religion is that there is no one correct way or path to follow. What works for one person may not work for another. The coven that the High Priestess is in and their structure is not universal, some have no set leader or high priests/priestesses. For other people, the idea of having one may be exciting or may put them off. You just need to find what sings to your soul and follow that path. In short: Practice what feels right to you.

jesus is king I'm happy christianity works for you and that you've found your call. However, you should not go around telling people their beliefs are wrong and there is only one 'true' path to follow. There are many religions older than christianity on this planet that are still practiced, so let us not assume that there is only one correct way for everyone. To do so would be arrogant and prideful, which I believe the latter is a deadly sin. Blessed be, friend. Try not to be so hard on others who are different than yourself.

Thank you for putting this up. i have been in and out of Wicca for decades but decided to be devoted rather than just flirting with it while still identifying. Whew... lots of honesty there. Been looking for a teacher now that a deity has finally tapped me on the shoulder. This is good as both refreshing things I know and believe but hearing expansion on concepts and your own representation.

Thank you for having these lectures. This is exactly what I am looking for to better understand witchcraft. Is it possible to believe in the Christian GOD and practice witchcraft?

Of COURSE it is! In fact, Christianity has a LOT in common with most Pagan religions. It essentially took the concept of a single sky god found in all sorts of ancient religions from the Steppes region, and merged it with the Pagan traditions which had developed and flourished for millennia before the birth of Christ. The Holy Trinity is, in and of itself, a tri-god archetype (Son, Father, Sage). In later lectures (lecture 6, I believe), I include Christian themes in my discussion of deity right alongside the Pagan ones. Lots of people believe that Pagans are worshiping idols, and it just isn't the case. Pagans all worship the same God as any Christian, they break him down into archetypes that are easier to relate to. You definitely will want to check out lecture 6 for a discussion on Pagan deity.

Ladykira Dragon witchcraft itself is not a religion... There is plenty of magic in Christianity, most just don't want to admit it.... Baptism, prayer, communion, this list goes on and on...

I've been interesting in witchcraft for the longest but only recently I have started studying it and considering it more seriously. However, there are some beliefs of Wiccan that I agree with (reincarnation, rule of threefold) and some that I don't (deities in general, the importance given to genders). Can I still give witchcraft a try ? Is there maybe another pathway for me ?

Hello, of course there is still a place within Wicca for you. As I always say, "take what helps you, and leave all the rest". Witchcraft in and of itself is a tool, which many who do not consider themselves Wiccan still utilize in their practices. Just for your information, the concept of the Lord and Lady isn't really about gender in the modern sense. The God represents aggression/expression (which is one concept in Wicca), change, and vitality, or the elements of fire and air, while the Goddess represents receptivity/yielding (again, the same concept), sturdiness/stubbornness, and confidence. The God challenges, while the Goddess nurtures. The forces are called masculine and feminine many times because these are the same symptoms which correspond to the dichotomous hormones: testosterone and estrogen. This is a form of primitive science which breaks down the universe into "push" and "pull", or "yin" and "yan". It is all the same concept. You can either be exerting your will upon the will (aggression), or receiving the will of the universe upon your own will (going with the flow, so to speak, i.e. receptivity). Wiccans may align with one or the other polarity (they are called polarities and not genders within Wicca), regardless of their sex or gender or sexual orientation. Some pull equally from both. I, personally, struggle to connect with my feminine side, despite coming across as a very cis-feminine woman, for instance. My first patron was a God, and my second, a woman. This is because I gravitate naturally towards masculinity, being a very aggressive person of the element air (and spirit, which is polarity-neutral in Wicca, implying that even core Wiccan philosophy is comfortable with the idea of gender as a spectrum, side note). I struggle to work with my feminine side, so now that I am on to harder work, I must face this challenge through working with a female deity. Ultimately, deity is a reflection of yourself, and the divinity within you. If divinity as a concept makes you uncomfortable, then leave it. If "gendered" or polarized divinity bothers you, then leave it. Choose genderless deities (they exist), or do not name your deities at all. Take what you need, and leave the rest. I am unsure yet whether "wicca" is what I want to call myself, but I would still like to follow this course, if you don't mind. I might make a more precise choice later but until then, based on this first lecture and your summary, I think this would be the best way to learn about it. Your explanations are very complete and I have already taken the time to read the book extracts that you recommended. I think this would be the best way for me to start. I know you started this course several months ago, but would it be okay for me to still use your e-mail address ?

I just got done watching the first lecture and I'm careful with who I learn from and I actually sat and took notes lol. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm willing and wanting to learn more. I've been studying for a while now still pretty new to this. I've always been interested and drawn to wicca.

How effective is a mirror protection spell, for other witch's that arnt white witchs

A mirror spell would effectively repel negativity from other witches, but it is a very aggressive form of protection, which is in many ways actually offensive more than defensive. Last night was the autumnal equinox. I decided to celebrate by leaving fruit, nuts and corn on a small table in the woods. Watching this, I realized I had inadvertently created an alter. I’m really excited to begin this path. So far, it feels right

1 week of my year and a day ! I was visited by the crone and reached out to a friend ( she is a Psychic and found out she was a Wiccan . It was so vivid ,I was alarmed. She explained to me what the triple Goddess was and I got chills . I’m very logical . so many dots were connected ! She told me the crone is protecting me bc im moving into the mother aspect . I explained a couple dreams and my spirit guide told her I was a Goddess in the Aztec and Egyptian times And the crone assistant me on the physical plane. So it was a no brainer for me to do my research. So I want to thank you so much for what you are doing bc it means so much to me and many ppl .

I’m here today because Wicca has always interested me but my parents were extremely against it (dad is atheist and mom is born again Christian) but after listening to this whole lecture I’ve never felt more sure that this is the path I’m destined for. Omg finally I found.. Where I can learn to become a witch.. Since I was a kid I wanted to be one. I started listening to the Wicca music and chant a year ago but this time I had decided to learn I set up my altar two days ago. My altar just simple as I didn't know anything yet so I kept some gems stones, rock salt, collection of oils, the statues of Egypt I got a gift, some candle and yes so far that it...
