As a team member or its leader, you may constantly be noticing the mistakes and weaknesses of others-and feel compelled to reprimand them. But is that the best response? In this audio excerpt, Michael shows us how to use these moments to better see our own "reality distortion" glasses and how to engage others to elevate both ourselves and others-in the workplace and, ultimately, the entire universe.
About "The Untethered Soul at Work"
Michael A. Singer goes in-depth to address ten common workplace challenges, including: finding satisfaction and fulfillment, the art of conscious communication, inspired creativity and problem solving, and more. He just said what a great leader is. A great leader serves. A great leader brings out the best in people. Everyone has weakness but you find their strength. Most leaders (CEOs, presidents and whatever fancy titles they give to themselves) are coming from the place of ego. I am higher than you, I am the boss and all you have to do is do as I say because I said so, or else...

This video speaks to leaders dealing with difficult staff. But what if you are dealing with a difficult 'senior' and they have limitations and are 'telling you what to do', criticising etc. when they are not competent, and their authority is not deserved/real.

Dear Simone, The "yeah but" and "what if" gets us no where. To me personally it is just an excuse. Have you read his books "The Untethered Soul" and "Living Untethered"? You may find them very helpful. Love and Blessings

It’s envy, they envy your youth and competence and god knows what else. Put boundaries and don’t let them get away with any disrespect. Report it to HR so that everything they do is on record

Simone, I always think every question is valuable because if it's coming up for you, then it needs to be addressed. I'd say, though, instead of focusing only on telling them what to do, take it as an opportunity to master your own boundaries, your own thoughts about "people like them," and then of course how you interact with them. I don't know if you have a super challenging family member, but for me, that's my father. He's a narcissist through and through, and I find that I really notice the narcissists in my workplace as well. So I'm working on having strong boundaries with them, and sometimes that isn't even through words, it can be through actions as well. Also, at least attempting to speak up for yourself, and then also trying to find moments where you can recognize the good in that person as well. I'd recommend, whenever possible, don't feel like the universe is asking you to stay around an abusive boss or co-worker. If it feels bad enough, get out. I left a position after 4 months last year because the person they partnered me up with for projects was seriously verbally abusive and the boss wouldn't do anything, so I was out of there. But I've stayed in situations where maybe the person wasn't my favorite, but I could see some good qualities in them, they weren't verbally abusive but instead were just way way too uptight. So my point is, you know you, leave if it doesn't feel right, stick around if there's room for you to grow spiritually around this person. Most importantly, you are worthy of setting boundaries!!! Oh lastly, remember, the universe sometimes isn't telling us that this person is here for us to learn and grow from by sticking around them. Sometimes the universe is telling you "learn to get the heck away from this person." as well, IMHO. Hope that was helpful.

In Buddhism there is the concept of the 10 lifestates once you recognize which one is the driving force of the person (bully) you then know why they act a certain way as well as our behavior we can then transform our environment

Stef 20 hours ago Hello...and thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I have been able to get in touch with my inner energy to the point that my toes are stiffly pointing and my energy within my head kinda pushes my mouth wide open to the point that my jaw cant get wide enough to expend the energy-unfortunately, an awkward face to carry in public...is this a usual step in the awakening process...should I be channeling my energy to be more focused aka through the chakras instead of ballooning outward in every direction?

Is the free download really available? I followed the process and then downloaded the Sounds True app, too, but the program purchased at 0.00 dollars never showed up. Has anyone else faced a similar issue?
