God overwhelmed me with graces, always there saving me in times of trouble, so my prayers became since long addressed to others whom maybe in need. God bless you all.

Indeed brother, many of the saints have historically felt this dryness at times during their lives, it’s important to never give up and to stay focused on our heavenly treasures

Recently I have been going to confession frequently (at least once a week/twice) since my prayers started to suck. Thank you so much for your help. I couldn't understand . I used to pray four rosaries everyday for more than 4 months + the seven sorrows rosary. Now it sucks I can't even pray five decades a day it feels bad. God want us to be like Job

Why the followers of the false teachers always nagging about almost anything in comments, i really don't get it for sure, but i have to assume it's due to their false teachers failure in interpreting anything!!..

maybe you just walk and talk with jesus 24/7, while driving, hands on the wheel, while you're cooking, while you are washing dishes, or yourself, while mowing the yard, while hiking, cleaning the house. pray without ceasing, no need for a string of beads. prayer is not a work. cast all your care on Him because he cares for you. bring the sacrifice of praise. count your blessings, even in the midst of diversity. wait on the lord. he gives and takes away. wanna change your attitude? read the scriptures. transform your mind, abide in christ, trusting. *matt 6:5-8* vain repetitions (the rosary) institutional format---no, no, no. heart.

Thanks for the comment :) I appreciate what you are saying, but the Rosary is what led to me Jesus. I can't agree with you that it isn't helpful because it is what helped me!

@@CameronRiecker "..do not use vain repetitions" why can't you hear that? john 8:43-47 praying to mary or any spirit other than God is idolatry. attributing to them power that only God possesses. the first commandment should be enough to cause you to fear. jesus teaches us to pray to the father. why can't you hear that? wonder and fear. may God grant you repentance, that you might come to your senses and escape the snare of the devil, who has taken you captive to do his will. fix your eyes on jesus, the AUTHOR AND PERFECTER of our faith. jesus drew you to himself, not mary nor the vain idolatrous repetitions of prayers to mary, she is no queen. duh! decades, so called, to mary, then one prayer to God. "you shall have no other gods before me." working your way to God, thru mary. anathema!

It won't be repetitive if you pray for others as well.. You know?, the hungry, the poor, the ill, etc.. Living to Jesus model is a repetitive prayer initially.

Why does it bother God if I enjoy prayers? :D I don't think the idea that if something is good for me that means that it's evil or bad. The whole reason we seek God is because He is the best for us. If God promised that he will send us all to Hell we wouldn't be seeking him, because it would be bad for us to do that. Also, be very careful not to turn christianity into a cult of selflessness. Jesus died for something, you do matter and your ego has a place in all of this.

Yeah, when something is good for you and you enjoy it, then it doesn't have to be necessarily evil, but Cameron wanted to say in the video that God is testing you by removing your desire to pray. Yeah, God knows us and He also knows the reason why we pray to Him, but He also wants us to know the exact reason too. By removing our joy from praying, He is testing us whether we pray to Him for our own personal joy or whether we pray to Him out of our love for Him, because He is our heavenly Father. By granting us this great dilemma, we can analyze our prayer life and find out the real reason of us praying. I mean, it's another way to refine our faith and our love towards God. Also, yeah, selflessness is not good, but so is being selfish not a good thing too. The Church teaches us not to engage in self-harm, as it is also a sin, and I'd say self-neglect is the same thing, but we have to distinguish selflessness and humility. Humility is when we humble ourselves before our neighbours and before God. Humility creates more space for even bigger love in our hearts, because true love, God's love, is not love for ourselves, but love for others and if we want to become similar to Christ and later join Him in eternity, we got to become a lot more like Him and this is why God wants us to pray to Him not because of our own joy, but because of our true love towards Him. Amen. 👍♥

Thanks for the comment :) God wants us to love Him because He is lovable and not because of how He makes us feel!
