Why waves and curls fall flat!

I see a pattern:
Loose curls and waves, with a smooth and flat outer texture tend to wear sleep caps and bonnets that encourages their hair flat and stretched. This forces frequent refreshing throughout the week with more product application that causes build-up, cast dilution and overall dryness. These hair characteristics live in a vertical hanging state so in order to encourage volume and longevity, a tube-like sleep cap with open ends or a satin scarf should be worn. Pull up to “pineapple”.
Tight curls tend to wear their hair “pineappled” or pulled back while sleeping which encourages the hair up, and in an irreparable state causing frustration, more product application, dehydrated hair, product junkism and discouragement from the natural journey. Tight curls live up and out so encouraging it in the state that you styled it (usually forward for bangs and down to elongate) will encourage longevity and alleviate hair stress.
Basically all textures should sleep prep the opposite in which it lives and/or how it is styled.
