I thought it was just me. Aside from the damage, I think the color is gorgeous.

Sis, you are a miracle worker. You somehow managed to make her hair look more healthy with extra heat.

Don’t be so hard on her folks.....we’ve all been “kitchen technicians” at some time! The front color looked better than the back. Maybe Janay talked her into letting her “fix” it later. The trim made hella difference though.

Definitely. I think the main issue is that she bleached it in it's natural state and didnt use enough in the back. Had she did it on blown out or flat ironed hair the result would've been more even.

Starting out I thought her hair was really damaged but getting to the end product it turned out So beautiful. You really do a fabulous job on every single head of hair you touch. 💝

It might of been an mistake how she bleached it but I think she's on to something! 🤔😏 I can definitely see a wig colored like this with some layers and feathered! This is a look!!!!

Eh different strokes for different folks, but I hope it doesn’t become a trend. It looks patchy, brassy, and she has hot roots. The cut and style is what saves it, but I hope she gets a color correction in the near future.

At least the color works for her. The layers and feathering is beautiful with the color.

@@ny8117 because that would hurt their pockets since Diy is a lot cheaper. Coloring hair is a science but it's not rocket science. If everyone who colored/bleached their hair at home did everything in small sections and made sure to not overprocess there wouldn't be as many color corrections or major hair cuts due to breakage needed. People just don't do their research or practice before slapping the checmicals all over their head, then run to the chair when they got splotchy results lol.

Same. And after that I tried to straighten my hair with my mom's hair straightener using Palmers coconut oil. My hair said bye 😂 luckily the damage wasn't too bad.

Natural Hair Forever it’s patchy, brassy, and she has hot roots. The cut and style saves it, but the color is extremely uneven, especially in the back. You can tell a professional didn’t do it.

I am so surprised how good it looked. I just don't understand why people bleach their hair at home as you have to be very precise, bleaching is no joke and that's why so many people's hair falls out. Plus you have to know how to mix the chemicals properly not just slap them in and hope for the best.
