Been training the handstand for close to 10 years now. Can’t stand when people say they learned it in a week. Really I can show or people can learn a “handstand “ in a day. But in order to hold it, make it look easy and graceful is a whole other thing. Like anything in life there are levels to it.

I love this content. The type of videos that are not as extreme as those that have been doing it for years like Chris Heria, you’re documenting the transition to be able to achieve all those higher skills and in-between. Much love bro

This was the best. Video you have done in quite a while Colin.. we absolutely love this… We loved the history lesson.. We loved how you gave your back history trying to learn it.. We loved your step by step head stand plan.. We loved your one on one talk all the way through.. Best part was the last.. the supermarket stand.. and walking on your hands.. so beautiful we cried.. Thank you for this one.. a treasure indeed it is💜💙🦋

I was just feeling so down and I just don’t wanna kick up into a HS and now I see this video😭

This video is meditating. But for real I am currently working on it and the main thing is to stick with it. Some make progress fast some slower (like me) But it's a challenge worth to pursuit. It's fun and learning these skills made me look at gym training differently. It's kinda relaxing sometimes. I honestly love it! Thank for the video this gave some extra motivation ❤

Don't put too much pressure on your wrists and shoulder when starting out. Always warm up. Being heavy helps with building muscles because it makes the exercises much harder.

I think hanstand is a like a love/hate relationship. I just hit 10s free hold facing the wall this week and the balance is going to the love way but I know once I get stuck it will be on the other side and wont do it for 3months😅

  • @Nicenigel14

How long can you hold the handstand against the wall? Meaning how long until you give out due to strength, not losing your balance

I really do want to learn the handstand but would you recommend any breaks or like recovery times for optimal progression. You know how you shouldn't train the same muscle over and over because it needs time to rest and recover. does the same a apply to learning one particular skill and if so what would you suggest. Attempts for like 1 hour every other day?

It's kinda uncomfortable at first but like he showed in the video you can do stuff like frog stand or pike hold to get your body used to being upside down. Then move to handstand on the wall to increase your time and comfortability in the handstand. I can do like a max 3 sec handstand and I don't really feel the blood rushing to my head anymore when I'm in that position. My mind is more focused on breathing correctly and having good form and such.

As a person who have vertigo, you endure it. I just open my eyes and let the vertigo slowly fade away. Eventually, I was like "WHAT MY VERTIGO IS NO MORE?!" (I was cured from doing the thing that internet doctor told me not to) I just kept going and kept on doing it over and over again.
