We did the Honey Island tour last trip and I was really glad we did the hotel pick up, because our driver was so great. She had really insightful stories and gave us a much more locals view of life in New Orleans, especially the impact of Katrina. Worth every penny.

A new one!!! I was in NOLA in Sept. My swamp tour was part of our escorted tour. It was great! We were on a big pontoon. The best way to go!!! Sondra from St. Paul.

I live in a part of the US which has very little water and what we do have is fiercely guarded. So, these swamplands are a revelation. I would gladly go on a tour during the day but the very notion of being there at night terrifies! Say, whatever happened to New Orleans’ drinking water scare? I read the city’s supply was being threatened by saltwater pushing northward into the Mississippi…

Saltwater intrusion is a recurring problem in New Orleans. At the moment they're still safe, but the situation is being monitored.

Hey, Andrew ❤ Long time no see. I hope everyone is doing well. I had back surgery on December 1st. I am in a rehab facility now. I caught Covid in here so, I am under quarantine for the next 10 days. I guess there's no better place to get Covid. There's 24 hour nursing staff. Have a very happy holiday season. Tell Robi I said hi ❤

Good to see back. Your channel was invaluable for planning our honeymoon in New Orleans. We took in a swamp tour as part of that and it was brilliant. We went for one of midsized boat options, max capacity of 8 (I think), and could get into some of the areas inaccessible to the larger boats. Very fond memories of the day.

How is the weather and nature in New Orleans and Louisiana in November in general? Looking to do a trip in November to get away from the dark and depressing feeling of my home country and swap it with something warmer and more colorful. Never been to the US before and will be traveling solo so trying to find an interesting and social place to visit for my first visit that at the same time feels quite secure.
