Meaning he can't ask for forgiveness anymore. Oh God! He is being mislead and misleading others. So this people will go sin and not ask for forgiveness? Oh God! Confused generation. As of that time Christ had not died so u understand why now right but when He died and rose again we were free from sin and guilt so we only confess Christ not sin because he bore our sins so we can be reconciled to our father who is in heaven. We are free from sin and guilt because Christ died.

You meant misguided,right? Try reading the Bible but also improve on your hermeneutics, study.

Believers today do sin and when you peradventure fall into sin or have committed sin, your confession is not to sin but to Christ, that you have committed sin and he is faithful and righteous to forgive you. Don't come to Christ with your arrogant and pride attitude and self righteousness mentality. You cannot confess ur sin to sin, believers confess their sin to Christ and ask for mercy. Be wise, be not ignorant of the scripture.

In the Lord's prayer Jesus teaches "forgive our sins" so if I pray the Lord's prayer I confess sin. This guy is teaching heresy

Not at all,at the point of coming to Christ,you acknowledge your sin(the nature of sin and fallen man in totality) and the need for a saviour,don't carry single verses,context helps,you would easily understand Dr.Damina if you are a student of the Bible. Scripture interprets Scripture. Single verses don't.

Jesus thought us forgiveness of sin Mathew 6:9-11. James 5:16 and 1 John 1:9 talked about confession and forgiveness of our sin. Prov 28:13 confession of sin and receiving compassion from God. Apart from confessing to Christ, you can confess your sin to one another, elders to pray with you and counsel you. Damina Abel is twisting the Bible verses and misleading the members from right path.

No, he's not misleading people. Watch the video till the end. No one is saying you shouldn't ask for forgiveness, God is willing to forgive you, in fact your sins are forgiven once you acknowledge that you've sinned. But mentioning your sins always is the point, God sees us even in the tiniest hole, He knows our acts and reads our hearts, so once you ask for forgiveness, He knows what exact sins you're seeking forgiveness for.

How can he say that? 1 John 1 vs 9.. I had a dream about this pastors, something happened and he was so confused, like a mad person and I was telling him to call Jesus as he claims that he knows when Jesus will come, so I was asking him that why did he not show you now. In that dream, it appears his message was coming from someone else.. I really did not understand that dream but there was something with him.. Even the apostles asked us to confess our sins to one another.. If we say we have no sins, we make God a lier and the truth is not in us..

What I believe is nonsense is going to a priest to confess your sins, ridiculous, you don't need a mediation between you and God.

According to Old testament when people commit sin , they always take lambs or goat and Lay there hand upon the Lamps or goat and confess there sin over it and give it to the Priests and the Priests take there lambs or goat blood as a sin sacrificed and stand on the behalf of people and God, is the same concept that us in new testament are used , the only things in new testament we are not taking any Lamb or goat .Jesus done it once and for all, but the confession part we need to do it , we come to Him as a highly priest and Lambs of God who takes away the sin of this world and confess our sin to him , that's why in 1 John 1:9 is makes sense because according to the old testament they confessed there sin upon the Lamb before the Priest takes the blood of lambs and goats offers it to God. for my view of point It's not makes sense for us not to confessed our sin to him, but confessed Only Christ? Because the blood of Jesus Christ is there to wash away our past , present, futures Sin.
