What's most frustrating about this is not that we have "a lot of good banners coming," but that we just have a bunch of LIMITED banners coming. The R6 units aren't anything amazing and even Virtuosa is more unique than powerful, but you're stuck saving pulls for the FOUR limited banners coming in rapid succession (Virtu, R6, R6 again, Shu). And since collabs are close enough to True Limited, it's even worse. Also doesn't help that these non-limiteds (Hoe, Ray) are mostly just DPS units, a role covered by so many others at this point it's just a question of what flavor nuke you want.

Virtu did fall off a bit conpared to her initial release but she's still pretty good with her "psuedo true damage" and Ela is actually pretty good being a mix of DPS and support.

Of the upcoming units, Ray, Ela and Zu Lou are all super powerful meta units, Degen is just the most powerful dps in the game and Shu is by base function a sidegrade to Saria that can potentially heal Summons/Enmity units but honestly just breaks the game rules with her s3. It's the combination of power and limited that is going to make things hard

It's helpful to remember that R6 banners will have lower pity limit than other banners. Hopefully that will save someone on pulls.

I got traumatized from pulling in the 'Front That Was' banner. I wanted Inez and after 300$ i got 3 copies of horn and 4 copies of stainless but not a single Inez. Guess she was not for me.

It’s kinda insane that there are gonna be like 4 limited banners within a like 5 month period. It’s at the point where it’s just skipping normal banners because they will be rerun later. Of course when that rerun comes, you should also skip THAT banner because of the next soon to come limited banner that you will probably need to spark for the unit you actually want (Muelsyse my beloved).

Something we do know for sure is that we have 5th year cn coming soon, and there are some leaked sprites that point to it being big, though those are still unconfirmed we'll see in probably a few weeks for the 5th year event announcement

1:41 it also has all anniversary limiteds from W till Texas alter. it's just that the ones before skadi alter don't have the 5 times rate up (which still is a terrible 0.04% chance of them dropping though) I get the point you want to make there but the extra limiteds on limted banners are so rare (only account for like ~0.15% of pulls) that mentioning them isn't a good or big reason to pull unless one goes for the 300 spark. (which is a bad decision anyways from a pull economy perspective no matter what upcoming banners there are)

Should I save my yellow certs, or unlock bagpipe ? Even tho I've been waiting for her to come into the shop, it just doesnt really feel worth it to grab her rn, with all the sick units coming up... (especially cause I dont necessarily need her, since Texas & Myrtle do just fine, in most content thats out rn))

You will pull him eventually. Standard off banner pull really like to give you newer operator from my experience. I was going to pull the Prechapter release banner with ines and horn, but i got both before the banner release.

Yeah I was gonna pull him until I saw "The Front That Was 4" banner- at least that means I can save now, I'm low from doing 139 draws on Jessica Alter

I would like to have him but only had the first 10x to have a chance to get him as I am keeping my stockpile for the limited people or meta units

Going to attempt to gun for Virtuosa, and go all out on the Shu banner for Shu and Chong Yue, and hope for the best in the collab banner. At least collab banners only require 120 pulls..

I really wanted Hoederer to complete the Darknights squad but considering the Virtuosa banner, then Shu, with R6 following shortly after and then another upcoming anniversary soon its just too much to save for

I promise myself that I would stop once I get a 5 star because I REALLY want Vendela(best girl). Then, I got a 5 star on the first pull and it was Kafka....😢 so I decided to do another pull and got Hoederer

I want him so bad but saving for all the limited stuff is always a priority for me. The plus side of not pulling for people you want is when you get those soul destroying off banners is you end up pulling people you wanted and its a little less soul destroying.

I do have a sort of question; how does one spend pulls on reruns of e.g. Ray when that could mean losing pulls to banners we don't know yet but will want just as much potentially?

the good thing about global is we kind of know what the next banner in 6 month will be + there will be a bunch of showcase of these newer ops too. as long u are open minded to know what event that running on the CN server, u can decide based on that.

Ray wont rerun first of all. TLDR: only events that are 2 weeks or longer rerun, reruns are only once. Ray comes with a 1 week event. Limited banners that are 4 times per year do not rerun. Collabs generally don't rerun. same for chapter release banners (Hoederer) though chapter release units get featured at a slightly lower rate on "the front that was" type banners. as for knowing who to pull for, if you are on the english/global server. we already know thanks to the Chinese server what events/banners/units are 6 to 7 months ahead of us. so currently we know about units/events up to September/october ish. Essentially the only banners out of the next 7 months that will rerun fully are Ascalon and Degenbreger. Ray and hoederer get their OG banner never reran. But are available in other banners in the future at worse rates. and besides Joint operation banners and the biweekly standard banners that all contain older units. All the other banners are limiteds/collabs and have units that are just very hard to get afterwards.

Prob gonna pull him on stainless, inez, hoederer banner

Well, the next banner in CN is 5th anniversary, so it has more upcoming limited operators... I pull for hoederer, now I gonna skip until new year banner (gonna pull 90), so gonna pull for both R6 banners too (120 in both) and spend 300 pulls in 5th anniversary.

i hoped to get him spending maybe half of my saving pulls, but i spend all and even all originium

I started farming my pulls for a decent character (or a banner where Mudrock have a rate up) like ascalon, but yes, i'll wait for something better

I used around 70 pulls just because i wanted Vendela, ended up with Hoedered on the way. Gotta skip all banners till R6S banner

Remember every off pull on a limited banner is roll for a red banner Guts and everyone else has a spook chance but limiteds are quarterly

Mlynar won’t be in the shop for a long time, you can easily save from 0 to 180 even if you start now and have enough for him. Keep in mind that Kaltsit and GG will be in the shop soon, so if you want them more than passenger, I wouldn’t get him

I only pull on limited banners if there are limited characters to get. And otherwise I pull on banners where I have at least a 50% chance of getting my favorite characters, such as SilverAsh, Phantom and Hellagur.

Had to pull for that booty... I mean, come on! He was nice enough to come home in 40 pulls so I can keep saving for Virtuosa and CNY banners!

I haven't pulled a banner since Specter Alter in 2022 or so. I have like 540 pulls. I only want R6 banner and Abyssal Hunters Part 3 (it's coming soon, that's my Copium).

i already use 50 pulls for this banner.

I already have more or less planned pulls. Degen and May are skip simply cuz I don't really care about them (yes, I know Degen is busted but I still don't care) I was planning to skip Virtuosa, but then again, "whole place says she's good. The whole place can't be wrong" (also, she is limited so there is that), still won't go too crazy on that banner. The there is Shu banner which is must for me for Sui family. The "CC banners" (4 operators) are always skip for me. And so do R6 collab (while they are SUPER limited and everything, I just don't really like characters). Now the big things for me will be Front that was, cuz it's featured 3 Ops that I don't have and I'd like to have (especially Ines, tho I don't regret not going for her original banner) and Ascalon (mostly for "waifu" reasons). But there is still Anni banner iirc after her, so I'll see.

He shares the same VA with Aobozu from Onmyoji (one of my husbandos XD) so I'll try to roll for him 🤣👍.

Guys, I just want you guys to know, it's okay to get your weekly orumdom and go off line.

pulling a legacy limited is 1/35 for a six star, 3/10 for an off rate. and (5x3)/the amount of six stars in the pool. I think they put W and Rosmontis in there at no increased weight. theres something like 40 operators in that pool. so 15/40 43? little confused here keeps changing will need to count when the banner actually comes out. so a 1/344 chance for Nearl, texas OR specter. and 1/1003 chance for a specific one of those 3 from pulls. these are NOT resources a F2P should have. that would imply you've been sitting on your F2P resources and skipping units like typhon for Texas. usually takes 70 ish pulls to secure a new six star but its 35 pulls accounting for pity. if the offrates are also new. so basically passing up 4 targetted six stars, like typhon, ines, and 4 off rate six stars, and 2 operators from the shop (eyja, Saria, kalstit will be in the shop in a couple weeks etc.) sparking is a thing restricted to 1) whales 2.) people who have been playing for a long time and somehow missed them the first time they were around. 3.) people who want a waifu. secondly if you are a f2P with 300 pulls keep in mind that shu and ela and degenbrecher and ray and a reed banner rerun are coming up. the only time outside of waifu (or restricted play style where the other units are useless to you because you only use a specific type of unit) when you should spark is if you pull for the limited and don't get her until like 200-250 pulls. and then its only a hundred MORE to spark. you pull on the banner you get vivy and virtuosa in 60 pulls you get the hell out.

Honestly - I hope that for 5th Anniversary Hypergryph will add Theresa as limited (+ Amya/W alters) from leaks, that would be THE BEST gift given to Arknights, as cool as R6S collabs. But everyone will be dry after two R6S collabs, so... Money-money-money-money
