Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Coffee is known as the magical cure that solves all problems and headaches in the morning. However, it doesn’t come without a cost, and there is nothing such as ‘free energy’.
In this video, I explain the reasons why you should consider quitting coffee (the health benefits) as well as what led me to take this decision myself.

Oh, jeez! Same thing here. Been drinking coffee for 15 years and my anxiety, sleep, was getting really bad & getting worse that it turned into a depression. Never been depressed in my life & it’s such a dark scary place. Cherry on top of the cake was 1st ever severe panic attack, I thought I’m going to die hence ended up in the ER. For reference I had 1 cup of Nespresso a day, very occasionally 2. This love & hate relationship is done! I quit cold turkey. The withdrawal was brutal & felt never ending … But finally after a while I see improvement in my sleep, mood and overall health. 🌱 Wasted 15 years of my life feeling anxious, jittery, & depressed 💔

Excellent job! I've been addicted for 12 years and FINALLY stopped last week. It's hard to keep on track because life just feels slow/"normal" because you're not constantly on the run. I used to have 3 cups of strong black coffee everyday till 3 weeks ago. A day before I completely quit drinking coffee, my nose started twiching. I called up one of my relatives who is a doctor to find out the reason - he quickly pointed out that it is 'too much' coffee. I quit the next day! First three days were terrible but then I started feeling more energetic and positive. Then I thought no harm in having a small cup per day so I had it yesterday and it was a bad decision, felt terrible - I was anxious, lost focus on my work. I AM NOT GOING TO DRINK IT AGAIN, NEVER!!🙂🙂

During the days when i forget to drink coffee, i would feel a pulsating headache and i would just be like "ohhh it's because i forgot to drink coffee today" not realizing that in itself is a problem. I gave up coffee so I could also quit the sugar and cream I used. I did the 16/8 fast along with 2-3 whole day fasts each week. In 5 months, I lost 60 pounds, and my blood sugar was great. Then, I started drinking black coffee, and my weight loss stopped almost immediately. However, it took me a while to connect caffeine with why my weight loss stopped.

Coffee causes a great and I reiterate great disruption on hormones. It affects every single hormone and affects all the adrenal glands and endocrine glands like the pituitary, hypothalamus, thymus, thyroid, and elevates the propensity of developing many conditions like diabetes which is a oxygen stealer. DIABETES disables the bodies oxygen absorption causing body parts to die starting with the limbs. Coffee also keeps the body constantly dehydrated and this in the long run is not good. It also damages skin cells and dna. It also makes the skin look horrible by breaking down elastin and collagen. After all this there is nothing absolutely no benefit from drinking coffee. And those that tout the benefits are affiliated with big Coffee. Don't believe the lies quit now because the body is a marvelous system that can correct everything but we need to help it and take care of it. Our bodies are our house. That's where we live once we mess up our house we live in it's game over and you don't get another chance.

I quit coffee 2 years ago and I wished I never drank coffee in my life. I am 57 now and my head starts shaking after drinking 1 coffee only. That started 2 years ago. I had my suspicion already on many problems I had described in this video but nobody supported me in that. So I started experimenting myself with longer (1 month) and shorter periods (few days) without coffee. The results became more and more clear to me. My wife forbid me sometimes to try more. Than I sneekly drank some coffee because of the cravings. But than my wife saw I had tremblings with my head and told me I was sneekly drinking coffee again. I never experienced the tremblings after quitting completely. But even after 2 years if I try to drink one coffee or coke only the tremblings come back including depression and all other bad stuff. For me coffee is a delicious poison. Just giving a short boost. But making things worse on the long run. Drinking Tulsi sleeping tea and vitamins and minerals to support my adrenals and life is so much better now. I lost weight, and I am more alert and happy than with the black stuff, no thanks.

Just to follow up this story. I observed that my adrenalin was depleted, taking adrenal supporting supplements helped. I also started taking extra magnesium before bed. And I observed that I was depleted in Vit B1 especially the water soluble version called thiamine. Because it was already few weeks frequently peeing at night. I took a test for my prostate and uti. But the doctors could not find anything. Accidentally I saw a video from doctor Berg explaining about peeing at night because of short on Vit B1. Benfotamine and thiamine. I looked up my diet and found my intake of B1 was 0. I don't eat sea fruit or pork, nor any other that contained Thiamin. I start eating lentils and added supplements. Since then I start to get OK. No more peeing at night and my blood pressure start to lower also.

Switch to decaf or drink dark roast coffee: the darker the roast the lower the caffeine level. Light roast has the most caffeine. You can also drink green tea. Blonde roast coffee and green teas do have health benefits. Look it up and learn how to manage caffeine. It’s like sugar if you eat a giant candy bar every day it’s not good, but a little square of dark chocolate (with your espresso) can be a treat with health benefits.

For the past 6 years, I believed I had ADHD, depression and bipolar, but it turns out it was the coffee all along. I used to consume Starbucks coffee daily which I had like 300 mg caffeine per cup, because I believed it would make me productive. But the more I drank, the more I became worse at my job. Looking back, things took a bit for the worse ever since I got addicted to that first cup. Reducing my caffeine was like my eyes opened to the reality after all these years. I want to stop it but I am still physiologically dependent on it. It's crazy how the negative effects of caffiene aren't talked much. I believe everything needs to be in moderation including coffee, but I wonder with the long cue I see at Starbucks, how many people are actually drinking in moderation.

Strange, I do quit for reasons I yet don't know. It takes months without coffee and I wonder why I do this to myself. So I drink for some for a while and so on... I guess the quality of coffee is way below what it was before the covid bs. So I don't even wanna drink anymore. Any differences I noticed? No. But even if do feel like I'm not addicted to it psychologically, the idea of opening your brain chemistry and your whole biochemistry to addiction can't work for my favor. Am I happy? No. Does coffee make me happy? Not anymore. Should I inject even more coffee into my veins? I'm out of here...

My experience over the years are that my day at work will start ok, then like usual i drink my coffee. An hour after, i start feeling weird, intrusive thoughts, extremely high anxiety, too much self awareness of every move in my body and thought pattern. I had always a level of anxiety so i always told myself thats the reason. What i did noticed later on is in the days when I don't drink coffee i feel much more clear in my head, my body movements are more align, no brain fog, a type of calmness that im really not used to. Personally in my case i believe its not just the caffeine but also gluten that causes me severe inflammation. Al that i mentioned above are actually an inflammation in the brain. It wasn't "just" the anxiety in itself.. these stuff makes everything worse 10 times

@@soukainakanice Thanks Soukaina. I was able to complete my video on this subject last Sunday, and would be very glad to share it with you. It is published on my other channel called, "All about your faith." It is titled, "The Word of Wisdom: A Look at the LDS Nutritional Law of Health." KZread sometimes doesn't like it if you put links in comments, I'll just offer you the information if you'd like to give it a look. I really appreciated you take on the subject of coffee. It helped to cement some of the ideas presented in my video that go even further and that you may find very interesting. My approach considers the health efficacy of a certain religious practice regarding what foods and beverages to consume. The LDS community has been practicing prohibition on Coffee, as well as Tea, alcohol, and tobacco for nearly 200 years. I thought it would be interesting to compare the practice with research from modern studies and see how it holds up. It actually does so, very well. I hope you'll have a look. Thanks again.

This topic is under-discussed and needs to be talked about some more. I recently discovered what was causing my stress and anxiety and always feeling extremely frustrated by any little thing that won't go my way. I used to drink a Venti size Pike Coffee in the morning and sometimes I would switch it up to a Trenta Cold Brew, unknowingly making my anxiety worse and triggering the fight-or-flight response, leading to increased heart rate, blood pressure, and cortisol levels. If you are feeling overly anxious or stressed, consider quitting coffee do it for yourself and your loved ones around you because they suffer too.

Videos like yours, with such important and helpful information, make quitting that much easier. It's scary to know how normalized caffeine has become in our society, which is one of the main reasons it's been so difficult to quit in the past. Even bringing it up to my friends yields no results because they tend to defend their intake instead of looking into all of the reasons you listed in your video. I'm definitely going to share this with them to, if anything, plant a seed. But again, thank you for taking the time to share all of this information. My brother is a pharmacist and is strongly against caffeinated drinks. It's a horrible drug. I ignored his warnings for a while and strongly regretted it. Just the caffeine from a single daily soda made my anxiety skyrocket and I became more angry too. It was insane. Never again. Sometimes I still want a caffeinated soda, but it's really not worth the side effects for me

1 more fact about cortisol is the fact that inhibits weight loss when high. When people are stressed and try to work out, it won't work if their stress levels are high. If you know anyone who works out regularly, and they don't seem to be making progress, simply ask them if they've been stressing out or drinking coffee regularly.

This was quite the “eye opener” ( like caffeine!😳😅), as I am just restarting the introduction of intermittent fasting, and never thought of the correlation between caffeine creating a “ fight or flight” response, and how that essentially cancels any benefits of a fasted state! Fascinating! And seemingly obvious🤪! Also, and unrelated, as a single language speaking individual, I find it sincerely fascinating as to how people speaking English as their second ( or third?;) language seem to only have mild pronunciation issues with the smallest, most basic of words, but the larger or more complicated words they use and pronounce perfectly! But, again, I only speak one language…..In any case, I enjoyed your video, and got something valuable from it, and you also have a beautiful accent! Thank you!

Also, being Greek w a very mediterranean temperament, coffee would turn me into a really short tempered non graceful girl...So i totally avoided caffeine for years...EXCEPT the occasional chocolate !!! Face = perfect !During lockdown i began having coffee ..devastating results. sleep badly affected, face looking aged & drawn, restless ..i d welcome suggestions on how to totally quit..as am kind of hooked now..

Hello, I can relate to you! I stopped because my boyfriend told me that my personality changes after drinking coffee ( less loving, anxious and preoccupied) . It was really hard at the beginning but he was my motivation. I don’t want a substance to control my mind. The more I stayed off coffee the clearer my thoughts were. I decided to have one coffee per week and usually the next day I felt sluggish and anxious. Sometimes panic attacks. Coffee is bad for hormones and I am soon 35 I don’t want to poison myself. Increasing the amount of protein I eat and fats helped me too. I also took naps when I was tired. It’s really worth it. I feel way better now and I hope I never see my dark eyes circles again. I don’t think the coffee has to do with your ancestry. I think humans are not meant to consume coffee because it’s a natural pesticide. If you care about your health that might help you stop. I always thought I had no problem with coffee I could have espresso and go to bed. But when you quit you notice how good it’s possible to feel without it.

Good video 2 things : I don't know if anyone mentioned it already but coffee on a empty stomach (which is how most people consume it) causes acid secretion and over time can burn out your mucus cells protecting it and eventually your partial cells affecting protein digestion and then the bile and pancreatic response is reduced. Second I would get a DNA genomic test to see what kind of metabolizer your are. If your type is counter productive to coffee then Cardiovascular events may occur earlier than later. Nutrigenomix can do theses labs

I don't have any issues drinking coffee. The good thing is I never fall addicted to anything, from caffeine to alcohol and foods. Seriously I don't know what mean being addicted. I drink coffee daily for many decades. Randomly I am busy and forgot coffee ever existed, used to drink wine for dinner but lately because of aging I decided to restrict and only drink occasionally for social events. Well I totally agree that people should save money on caffeine and alcohol. They are useless if don't want to say harmful for many people.

I will not give up my coffee. With some due diligence you will find that caffeine is not the detrimental substance this woman is saying that it is. There are other many factors that cause our bodies to have low energy. I suggest everybody start reading books written by Mark Sloan. One is titled Cancer the Metabolic Disease Unraveled, The Ultimate Guide to Methylene Blue and Red Light Therapy that's excellent. Mark Sloan mentions that caffeine is actually beneficial. Anyway, I strongly suggest people read these books

Good video Soukaina! I however fall asleep like a baby after a delicious cup of coffee and so does my mum (she has ZERO grey hair) and other people in family. Yes, we drink coffee after dinner (and all day long). Take this from a non-doctor, non-expert ... I have learnt to listen to your body (You said that yourself too :) ). It knows better that all the doctors on earth. I sometimes eat watermelon and bread to breakfast, other times eggs and tomato, other times nothing. Every morning I give to my body what it asks for. I am over 40, and I have to show my ID in alcohol shops. Let alone I have always heard that I look much younger than 40. I sleep max 4-5 hours a day! I am cheerful and happy and I do not take life seriously, but I do have plans and work hard. I do my best to stay away from all the information, because it decreases your time for other meaningful stuff! This discussion of coffee good or bad is LONG discussion and has been around for years, especially in BBC. Religious people, especially Muslims and Christians used coffee to "be able" to copy and recite their holy books. When I sit with my cup of coffee, it feels like meditation and I feel joy! I do not drink it for energy or to work hard. It is a time with myself. When I also feel for it, I smoke a cigarr and just leave the planet earth and enjoy a moment under the sun or in the veranda listening to the rain. What really can destroy your health is stress and your state of mind, not coffee, not certain food and not certain habits... Peace and stay joyful!

I have a friend who does what you describe: says he can drink multiple cups and fall fast asleep. A genetic assessment finds I have almost all of the genes that code for high caffeine sensitivity - also known as slow caffeine metabolism. That means, when I consume caffeine, it takes far, far longer for the caffeine to clear from my body. That means it has its effects over a longer period of time, and a 2nd cup just piles on top of the caffeine that is still circulating in my body. This is likely why some people can consume coffee readily while some of us cannot.

Thanks for the inspiration to quit. Maybe if even just for one day. Then maybe one day will turn into two. And so on! It's a big mental commitment to change a habit FOR LIFE. i have a question. I have been a heavy Caffeine addict for most of my life. intaking over 1000mg per day of caffeine and countless MG of sugar upwards of 800 or more. I started having health problems due to the heavy caffeine intake such as Anxiety Panic attacks foggy headed light headed Confusion Weight Gain Extreme Irritation and moodyness So far im 23 days into quitting but that has caused its own set of issues and im wondering if this is normal. 23 days of either light or severe headaches. The one thing that is confusing me is my jaw and teeth. Since I quit Caffeine for 23 days now I have had tooth and jaw aching randomly throughout the day. I have already been to the dentist and they see no issues and when I told them it started about a week AFTER I quit Caffeine they told me they have never heard of this before but a buddy of mine who quit said his teeth hurt alot after quitting and took along awhile to stop hurting and he had to drink a little soda to stop his teeth from aching. I dont know if i feel better or worse off the Caffeine at this moment but I really want to quit for good. a Few years ago I OD'd on Caffeine and has a series of mini heart attacks but I never learned and went even harder on the Caffeine so im dedicated to quitting. P:S. I have also noticed I literally have no appetite no more. I am never hungry anymore I bought an exercise bike to start working out to get healthy again so im looking forward to a healthier future

I’m guessing your symptoms are coming from both the withdrawal from MASSIVE AMOUNTS of TWO addictive substances (sugar too has its own set of issues) . I’m no expert but It may take awhile to feel better. Took me over a month to recover from 3 cups a day, although sometimes I do enjoy a cup once a week or so. If you have the self control you can try weaning yourself off.
