Alyssa Murphy Every MLM that requires inventory, that I've seen anyway, shoves inventory down their consultants throats... because that's the only way that the higher ups make money. Word to the wise, if you do an MLM do one that doesn't require inventory... word to the wiser, don't do MLMs.

ZannaTheGreat I know of a few that don't require an inventory. I don't hate all MLM products like I do LLR's, but I hate the illusion of grandeur they give people. If someone is in it for fun or the discount and doesn't actually drink the "you own a business" koolaid, then cool. Whatever floats your boat.

I also think it's funny how "everything sells" and "your inventory isn't stale", but for the last few months they didn't buy back year old merchandise. They basically just proved some of their clothes doesn't have value even to them.

LOVE this video!! I joined in august of last year and completely stopped ordering after trying for 2 days to get Halloween leggings for my customers. While some consultants were able to get THOUSANDS of them, I was stuck on my computer trying my best to refresh and click click click away while the owners talked about how disappointed they were that consultants didn't follow the rules. And how they would immediately be taking action against those consultants. BUT THEN when Monday came around, and they thought people weren't so mad anymore, they changed their minds and said that the people that bought THOUSANDS of leggings were completely right to do that, because they could sell them! Little old me with my tiny group couldn't possibly sell the 20 pairs of leggings I was trying to buy to keep them happy and interested! I loved being told that my wasted time was just a part of the process and I shouldn't be upset about it because there are other people in the world that don't have running water. YEP! I shouldn't be upset with lularoe because there are bigger things to worry about in the world, than leggings. But wait! I thought that last week, these Halloween leggings were going to make or break my business?? Oh lularoe, you are a finicky little SOB aren't you. 🙄 #dontdrinkthekoolaid #lulahell

Jessica Clark omg yes that shit was insane . I onboarded right after Halloween 👻 there wasn't a lot of negativity surrounding llr yet then it was like coming in wheelbarrows. And my upline would tell me to ignore everything going on and spend that energy building my business... kinda hard to ignore when it's slapping me in the face everyday! Pattern mixing is fine, but usually, you need to pair a bolder print with a more subtle print in a neutral color.

This made me laugh, even though I'm sad for the friends I've had who have worked their butts off only to fail.

I saw a lularoe ad on fb for the Halloween collection. Wow. It's the ugliest prints and unflattering clothing. I've never purchased anything, but I can't understand the prints. Why not throw in some solid colors, flattering fits, or more "boutique style" clothing. It's not cute.

'Consultants' have to keep buying in bulk so they end up absolutely drowning in items they never wanted in the first place. I suspect that's what happened to this woman, she got swamped with clothes that she cannot possibly sell. On top of all that, the clothes are very flimsy and tear away way too easily; there were also several batches that reached the sellers in appalling condition- stinky, wet, you name it- and there is proper refunding policy.

Julia Johns Ebay, and mercari.com is where to find the few attractive prints at reasonable prices. I have a couple of tops I like, and some legginga, but I paid less than half the original price. For that price, I am happy. I'm sorry the company is worse than even most MLM ripoffs.

Right! Lisa M. I know I paid much less than retail asking and was able to get solids and some nice prints. But I do notice the materials are inconsistent and sizes fit differently as well. Some pieces of the same name are much nicer and fit better than others, depending on the fabric content. I love how the TC leggings fit as I am T and C and have a hard time getting normal size leggings over my hips and long enough. But I would never pay the retail asking due to the quality variances. I think there is definitely a lack of quality control overall at the mfg. level. Would never buy at any POP UP party. I love the classic Julia dress which is quite a versatile dress. I'm normally a 12 but take a 2XL in this dress as I do not want my rear sticking out. It fits comfortably and hits below the knee, very conservative when you go way up in size.

With younique once I joined, I bought a few things, thought for that price this is bull sh!t. Hilarious! I'd buy something from you for your sense of humor! I bought a pair of leggings by Lularoe I had wanted.. searched for...begged for...(some retro Scooby Dooby lookin flower pattern) received them with the inseam sewn straight up the center of the leg! They were awesome! I figured the little kid workin the sweat shop in Pakistan, Vietnam or the Philippines was probably tired that day...Im over the cheap clothing with the high price. I found a cute "buttery" (that term is waaayyy over used) at Walmart for $4...i wear the hell outta em! YOU ARE FABULOUS!

I know I would totally get along with you!! You are awesome!! I hope that you recouped some of your losses. In 2015, I attended what I guess you call a pop-up, and this poor young lady was so overwhelmed with products she couldn’t sell. I bought a couple of items, I felt so bad for her, she was a friend of a friend and her friends were trying to help her liquidate her merchandise. MLM’s are always about recruitment, not about actually selling a product. I have a sister in law who tried a couple of MLM’s and lost a ton of money each time.

The thing with MLM's is that the "resellers" and "consultants" are the customers of that company. It's so easy to forget that. I hope you get out of that hole.

ugh this is so freaking true. I onboarded April of this year and sales are shitty. Have been for months. Yet, there are "favorites" getting solids, BLACK, THOUSANDS of new items when no one else is able to even order said items. It's seriously garbage at this point
