I can relate to what he said ..by just minimising my caffeine consumption I stopped coffee and kept just morning tea instead of drinking tea twice a day, I feel calmer less stressed more focused less fatigue ..so I can imagine the results if I totally stop caffeine

I’m not quite certain about what was said but one thing I’ve noticed happen within my own body is that after drinking coffee it is damn near impossible for me to do my more complex stretches. I don’t know the science behind it but I believe the acidity must affect the oxygen in my blood. But on days of no coffee I’m as limber as a new born babe.

But please dont unnecessary use terms which has neither logical reasoning nor verifiable scientific explanation. His basic advice is about minimizing all those things which might be a hurdle in your Sadhana or whatever process you are involved in so that the focus isn't lost . That may also include "not gossiping" or "spending unnecessary time watching shorts" along with avoiding coffee , etc etc . BTW China is also cold, coffee consumption is less , that take caffeine from green tea which is less concentrated and also they drink hot soups. In Kashmir, it’s cold too and they have hot saffron and almond tea. North America is a very new world - it’s difficult to indulge in old ethics as people are here for quick fix.

@@arjunrajendran4826 Read some studies online. Caffeine's impact on the body is parallel to that of cocaine, and the way the process is triggered is nearly identical. When you drink it it's absorbed into the blood stream and you feel good, excited, and sometimes "neurotic". It blocks adenosine, stimulates adrenal gland, and promotes dopamine activation. If you remove caffeine from diet you get withdrawal symptoms which can last up to a week. There is no question about it. Caffeine is a drug. Otherwise people would be able to cut it out of their diet without effort and have no dependency on it for energy. Coffee and tea are giant world industries that generate tremendous amount of money. They sponsor the media and studies to defend their stance on caffeine by going over "benefits" like antioxidants which by no means outweigh the negative consequences of dependency and violation of chemistry in the body. In addition tea and coffee are the most heavily pesticide and chemically treated products in the world. If you bypass all the mainstream nonsense that is there for one thing, "sell and advertise", then you'll find a ton of facts from independent studies that show enormous amount of negative consequences of this psycho-stimulant. In fact you don't even have to read the studies. You already know this by consuming a cup of coffee.
