Why You Should Learn the Bad Words in English
There are many “bad” words in English. We can call these words curse words or swear words. I believe learners of English need to learn these words. Many learners say embarrassing things because they don’t realize what the bad words are. Watch this video to learn why you should learn the bad words and what the bad words in English are. What do you think? Should English learners learn the “bad” words or not? www.engvid.com/why-you-should...

Ema, you are truly one of the most exceptional teachers I have had the privilege of encountering on KZread. Your passion for teaching and your ability to convey information with remarkable clarity and effectiveness is truly inspiring. As an English teacher in my country, your instruction and delivery have been invaluable to me, and I cannot thank you enough for the immense impact you have had on my own teaching practice.
True it's pretty important to know the bad words
If we learn a language that is not our mother tongue, we still need to learn bad words or inappropriate words. If we don’t we might end up smiling when someone using offensive words to us. So I mean we still need to know different meaning of bad words or exact meaning. Thank you for your lesson lovely teacher, it really help us. Edit: Don't get me wrong guys.I don't teach children inappropriate words or behaviors. The teacher said it in the video like "Not for children". Kids nowadays learn on their own.

Indeed there are people who learn better by focusing on detecting the wrong questions than detecting the right ones, a question of state of mind or personality functioning.

Very good video. Thanks for sharing. more or less the same day your released this video, there was an article in a Dutch newspaper about a teacher who was teaching similar words in Dutch language to Ukrainian people, refugees, because he wanted them to know those words, so they they would know when (not) to use them.
Congratulations. I really hate band words, but I understand that it's important to know about, even to avoid them. And you were very polite in this class. Thank you for it.
I’ve recently done B1 level but I didn’t think it’s very good as want to study abroad. I watch some foreign channels on KZread and there’s often fast and difficult language there, so I often don’t understand it and feel upset. However, I watched this video and understand ALMOST EVERYTHING! An hour ago I couldn’t imagine I can understand something like this. Your video and this experience have impressed me, and now I don’t think I’ve been wasting my time during the last years. Thank you so much for your videos! P.S. I also learned much about bad words)

In British English Arse is the swearword, so if you are using it as an alternative it won't work.
I really like the way you make a difference in those confusing words!!!!
Emma, thank you for teaching us this. One interesting point is that, about the last word, the one that starts with N-. In Portuguese, until some time ago, it was the opposite, if we get the literal translation, actually, the word "black", when referring to a person, would be considered offensive while the other would be the regular word that describes a person's skin color.

Thank you for your lesson. Bad words are very important for learning, because it's part of language.
Dear Emma I like your way of explanation with proper examples. It is helping me to speak English❤. Hope one day I will also speak like you
The smile of her face teaching this is everything😂
I think I tend towards pronouncing horror like 'horr-o', and never felt close to ambiguity. After Emma explained her pronunciation (more like 'horr-r') and worries about ambiguity; I started thinking about how they are different and why. I think there are different ways to pronounce horror, and depending on which it can cause ambiguity: Horr-or : including all parts, but makes it kind of a tongue twister, that slows you down. Horr-r : skipping the second 'o', makes it easier , but it easily resemble one syllable 'horrr', causing ambiguity Horr-o: skipping the last 'r', makes it easier, while you easily keep the second syllable, mitigating ambiguity.
Thank you too to deliver this lesson.
I love how she is brave to teach kids bad words💀

I am pretty much confident about my english but I find myself very akward when native people use their slangs. Being a non english speaker , it is very annoying when I fail to understand what they are actually expressing 😅😅. Thses words will ofcourse help in some extent. I will be glad if you bring a video about the most commonly used slangs. Thanka a lot emma❤
Hello, Miss Emma. My name is Paolo, I'm a fifty seven years old independent learner from Italy. I've taken the liberty of scripting a message to say thank you for your immense support. That is to say that after five years of exhaustive training I can finally Live in English. Yes, my girlfriend is British, born in London and then lived in Toronto and Connecticut for twenty years. When I met her here, I had already been speaking English to her and she said "Wow, impressive!", " Where did you go to school?" I said " A small private school called living room with the American TV on 24/7 and a lot of English books." I'm not joking, it's true. I've done everything on my own mind and with your precious help. I still remember your old lessons by heart. I literally started from zero, at the beginning of my English adventure I could barely speak the days of the week, but slowly slowly I got it. Totally. But I m not going to quit, life is a journey and so is English. I'm grateful for what I can do in my life, and I just want to say Thank you very much indeed. I wish you all the best for your future. Paolo.

Thank you so much Emma for the lessons . Great job 👍 May God guide us , and increase us in knowledge
Wonderful video! I wrote a paper on bad words in English years ago, so I'm quite familiar with talking about the topic. You expressed the spirit of talking about taboo words very well. You don't need to be explicit to talk about them and at the same time make people aware of potential effets they have on listeners or readers. You must warn your audience that it is a sensitive topic and even you as a teacher may find yourself in an awkward position because this or that word may touch your personal feelings on the matter. We should all learn bad words in any languageAs teachers, we should show our students what they are and what to do with them and let our feelings and conceptions are about them show. And let each one decide what to do with them! Congrats, dear!
I always tell my students that these words are very strong. It is difficult to make them understand that when you are not in an english speaking country. Thanks for the nicer alternatives.
Thank you for being so clear and professional ! Now, everything is crystal clear in my mind !
I do appreciate such a very embarrassing lesson to you,Emma. I can't imagine if this content is explained in my mother tongue.

I am not a native speaker either. I don't know if there is a different pronunciation in British English and American English for can't. I know it's possible to pronounce it at least in two ways, ca:nt and caent. I prefer there first, because in the second possibility there is only a slight difference between caen and caent, but it has the opposite meaning. What are your first and second languages?

coño ( cunt) is the word You will hear continuously in Spain as if it were the principal objurgation. coño is said at the begin or end of a phrase. In France the relative is con m. conne f. with the meaning " stupid" pove con ( pauvre con) conasse is much more dispregiative for gores and women , with the same meaning " stupid" The italian correspondent would be figa , but in an appreciative meaning : che bella figa ! The masculine figo is also appreciative of a male who excells in sport, writing, playing an instrument.... So in different nations bad words can be negative or positive, depending on the context..
