Ema l disagree with you on the definition of each for example saying that do you know is only used for what we don't know.A Teacher may ask the class what both of them what all of them know with do.

I have never known this difference before. Thanks!

Hi, I am a new subscriber. thank you for sharing. As an Iranian who have lived in UK for more than 46 years, I have been using 'do you know' instead of 'did you know' and no one has ever corrected me till I watche this video which made me aware of my error. Thank you for making me aware of this. At the age of 68, I am still new knowlege about English language and I am loving it. I wonder how many mistakes I have made while typing this few sentences?
