Is the roi on a condo in a location like this better than a single family 30 mins away from the beach?

It really depends on the location that you are referring to but the answer is probably yes. Brickell has a high ADR compared to near by neighborhoods. Also, Brickell has recently entered the expansion phase of it’s real estate market cycle. It has been undervalued for years. Prices finally started to increase last year and prices will continue to rise. The area presents a cashflow play as well as an appreciation play.

@@_LeoGayle_ oh ok thanks. I’m doing research and saving up so next year I can hopefully make a purchase for short term rental. Do you think single family STR in Fort Lauderdale is also a good idea? I would do Brickell but 25% down is a lot
