I love Delano! Quiet, clean and roomy! If you use the Keurig, you must bring cups too, they will charge you if you use the ones there. Taxis and ride share is right outside, very convenient.

Not to keep noticing your editing and camera work, but the pan behind Rachael up to the Delano sign to the opening of one door, then cutting and fading to second door synced to music was GREAT!!!!! Also, I stayed at MB, but didn't head to Delano. I'm totally next time just to check it out. And I 100% would keep going between Delano's pronunciation LOLLL I sooo get it!!! :) :) Thank you for another GREAT video!!!

I LOVED Delano! I love how it smells. The huge bathtubs are amazing. Having access to the pools of Mandalay Bay were great. They have a ton of dining options and easy access to Luxor. Glad you guys also loved it!

Just stayed at MB this past weekend and gotta say we missed the Delano side of the pool. MB was very crowded

So glad that y'all also felt the same way about Mandalay Bays casino floor..we have been going to Vegas over 20 years..I remember when Mandalay Bay was our absolute favorite casino!!! It was packed with awesome slots and the vibe was soooooo much fun..Now it's kinda weird....they look like they have spread the machines out so thin...kinda looks like they couldn't afford slots to occupy the floor space..so when we stay at "Dell a NO", Josh....lol.. don't worry, hubby and I pronounce it wrong all the time...lmao...we will stay there, but not play at this casino unlike in the past... Great video...enjoy Greece and your cruise 👍👍👍

Good video! I wonder why they close that monorail so early (midnight). The one that connects Park MGM to Bellagio is open to 4am. It's Vegas--you'd think they would expect people to be out and about well past midnight.

GREAT video/vlog! Thanks for the review. I’ll be staying at the Delano twice in the next 4 months in a “Scenic” corner suite for my first time in Delano. Like you, I was offered these rooms versus a standard king at Mandalay Bay. You’re 100% correct about the slot machines at Mandalay Bay, speaking as a slot player. Did you go into the Skyfall lounge? If so, what’s the dress code?

Still haven’t made it there, I am now at the point I always wear shoes to restaurants and nice bars in the evening. Seems shoes is a big thing they like to pick at

We enjoyed Delano in May. You hit all the points and said the same things we felt. It was cute to see you both pronounce it incorrectly like I did while we were there. The server at the coffee bar just said “like the president” but I still kept messing it up 😂

Favorite place to stay. Also the mini fridge has a small top shelf that you can use. Will hold cans they just need to be on their side.

You two definitely nailed a lot of things about Delano/MB. My wife says she doesn't wanna stay anywhere else but Delano, and that's alright with me! I hardly gamble at MB, which def says a lot about how they do things there. For instance, I'd MUCH rather go down the street to places like Excalibur or even more mid strip to spend my gambling money compared to Mandalay. Love everything about the property BESIDES the casino and location. I'll always come to Delano if the comps are right compared to other sister MGM properties.

Love the Delano but hate the walk to the pool. We actually just stayed at Mandalay Bay over Delano for this reason. Rivea has a great view but the food was meh. My steak was half medium rare and half medium well.

We've been staying at Delano since it was The Hotel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. If you need a taxi early in the morning, catch it at Mandalay Bay. No taxi's at Delano early in the morn.

I am planning a trip for the beginning of October. This video came at a perfect time for me. I have stayed at most MGM properties but have not stayed at Mandalay Bay or Delano. It is on my bucket list. Of the two for a first timer, which one would you recommend? I am comped at both. Thanks in advance.

Awesome thanks for the comment! I would say go with Delano since it is connected with a 1-2 minute walk to MB with better base rooms and more pool options!

When we stay at that end of the strip we just use Door Dash and have essentials delivered. Just wait down where the taxis are and they drop it right off.

Those were from Dellas Kitchen last year, it was the only part of our experience at Dellas we recommend unfortunately

Great, quick review. I wouldn't stay there since i only stay in Downtown and locals hotels now that i am older, i like some quiet and less annoying millennials and Gen z'ers. Lol i find i want quieter places, without all the "look at me" vibe. But i have visited people staying at the Delano and i found it contemporary.

Fair enough! But downtown I would argue is louder than Delano or Mandalay Bay most of the time. Do you go to Circa, The D or the Fremont Street Experience? Those can be a bit overwhelming from time to time for me

@JoshRachael I don't disagree with any of your points. I stay mostly off the strip at my timeshare. If I do stay in a hotel/casino it is south point, samstown, Orleans, green valley. If I do stay downtown, I stay at main street station, the El Cortez, the grand, or request the highest available room at the freemont or ask fora railroad side room at Plaza. No D, golden gate or Circa. These things keep me pretty well rested and in a crowd more to my liking. 😆

Awesome! 1 Would you say that Delano is kind of smoke-free? I consider the Luxor Towers to be kind of smoke-free. 2 How did you guys wait for a cab? Were there any employees working in the taxi/valet area? 3 How was the sun at the pool? Was it really sunny by 10:00am or was it not sunny until 12 noon?

1 - we didn’t find Delano smoky at all and don’t have any experience in the Luxor towers for comparison 2 - if we recall, there was always a staff member available to help hail cabs 3 - every time we’ve been to the pool complex it is always sunny, no matter the time of day! Thanks for watching!

Too be honest I would be a bit concerned about that artificial smell.Guess it could mask the cig smoke a bit.

Delano looks great for a suite room! Only question…do you hear the helicopters? Last time we were in Vegas we had a huge suite room at the Luxor BUT all day long we heard the helicopters flying in/out of the airport. Felt like we were in a war zone 😂

So funny you posted this today. I’m staying at Delano when I get there tonight!!! The location is very South but the rooms are great, if slightly dated. Also Rivera is one of the best restaurants on the Strip. I found it from your review.

LIGHT nightclub was @ Mandalay Bay until they closed back in Oct. The wife and I saw MJ One back in July and we really were disappointed. As MJ fans and cirque fans, this unfortunately was just not for us.
